The master’s thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the performance of Kayaku Safety Systems Europe a.s. using the Balanced Scorecard model. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is a theoretical and defines basic concepts. Using theoretical knowledge, the analytical part deals with financial and strategic analysis of the selected company. The last chapter of the master’s thesis is focused on a proposal for the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard model in the company, which will lead to an increase in its performance.

The theoretical part of this work is devoted to principles of financial analysis and its use in practice. The practical part represents selected applied theory for IMI International s.r.o. Based on the obtained results are made proposals for improving the current situation.

Lastly, in the third part, the conducted questionnaire survey is evaluated and measures for improvement in problematic areas are proposed.

The aim of the diploma thesis Evaluation of Company Performance is to propose the implementation of the Balance Scorecard for selected company CZECHmetal spol. s r. o., which aims to increase the competitiveness and performance of the particular company. The analytical part is devoted to the introduction of the company and the services offered, the design part will be elaborated on the basis of strategic analysis outputs. Strategic goals are set out in individual perspectives as well as benchmarks that accompany target values. The thesis sets out strategic initiatives that lead to the achievement of the objectives previously set. The conclusion contains the risks and benefits associated with the implementation of the model in society.

The first part defines the goals and chosen methods, followed by the theoretical part, which contains theoretical starting points from the professional literature, which are the basis for the next part of the work. The third part of the work is analytical, where the company is presented and then a financial and strategic analysis is carried out. In the last part of the work, a proposal for the implementation of the BSC model, which should lead to an increase in the company‘s performance.
