Blektová, Veronika ; Vomáčková, Helena (advisor) ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: Use of the Pressure Biofeedback Unit to assess m. transversus abdominis activity - a pilot study Aims: The aim of this Master's thesis is to create an extended rating scale to assess the stabilizing ability of the transverse abdominis muscle measured by the Pressure Biofeedback Unit through PRONE test. Another aim of this thesis is to determine whether the extention of the original rating scale designed to evaluate the stabilizing ability of the transverse abdominis muscle measured by the Pressure Biofeedback Unit in the PRONE test will increase sensitivity of this evaluation. Methods: This thesis is a quantitative study, i tis a quasi-experimantal study. A deliberately selected group of young active men n = 40 with a mean age of 25,63 2,61 who suffer from chronic low back pain without a neurological finding for at least 3 months was used for this study. The size of the research sample was determined using statistical power calculation software G*Power. A questionnaire for experts in the field of physiotherapy was used to create a proposal for the extended rating scale. The Fleiss' K and the arithmetic mean were calculated to evaluate the inter-rater agreement and content validity of the individual items in the questionnaire. The measurement itself took place in the premises of Posádkové...

Battery supplied lawn mower
Picmaus, Jan ; Martiš, Jan (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with a concept of turning a conventional petrol powered lawn mower to a battery powered solution which is powered by lithium cells. A division to three chapters, comparison, mechanical and electrical, provides fluency of the whole design and further realization. The arrangement of chapters is performed so that the continuity of the thesis is maintained. Calculations of parameters of every motor and transmission with choosing particular devices are just a part of much interesting information which can be found in this thesis. All new components have full documentation except those which were changed during manufacturing. The electrical part explains every part of the schematics in detail. The realization contains difference between preliminary design and further production, manufacturing of the PCB and powering up the motor drives. The last part of the thesis contains temperature measurements of the device at no load.

Hole punching problematics of two layered sheet metal
Kvapil, Štěpán ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The thesis is focussed on project of a tool – a hot working clipping punch, where the hole is punched in the upsetting ends of stabilizer. We talk about punching of a two layered semi-finished product, in which burr is formed at the layer interface, which is undesirable from the point of the customer requirement. The stabilizer is mounted in the car chassis, where it is fastened to the axle with screws. The literature study is focused on the theory and problems of punching. In the practical part, several design solutions of cutter faces are discussed, from which three types of face shape were selected. This was associated with a change in the design of the ejector. Two tool materials were selected for comparison. The cutters were tested on an automatic forming centre. Finally, after summarizing and evaluating all the practical experiments, an optimal solution of a tool designed for punching a hole with a two layered semi-finished product is proposed.

Measurement of meteorological variables
Škorpík, Daniel ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses about the basic meteorological variables, especially temperature and airflow. These magnitudes are measured using an anemometer which uses resistive sensors, namely, two thermistors of NTC type that described technology, operations, methods of scanning, sensor placement and implementation of such a device. After that was designed block diagram and circuit diagram. The meter is realized, than we describe the individual components and then is calibrated and tested. In conclusion, it is evaluated for use in medicine.

Design of analog control device for mini glasshouse
Řehák, Martin ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays there are several options how to grow plants that do not come from our climatic belts are used to implement the greenhouses, where the artificially simulated environments, in which plants can vegetate. This work deals with the issue, plant growing in climates that are not for the plants of the rainforest, characteristic. It was necessary to create a greenhouse in which to guarantee the basic conditions for their growth. Such as humidity, temperature and lighting. He was taken into account at the design and implementation of the website.

Double digitally controllable DC power supply
Kotol, Martin ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
The award of the thesis is an analysis of the involvement of power supplies in OrCAD.Based on this analysis, the best are selected, power supplies, which are modified on the performance of 2x 0-30V / 0-3A. The connection of power supplies are tested incomputer simulations and proposed the concept of digital control. Digital control power supply is designed by digital potentiometers that are controlled by a microprocessor. The microprocessor is also connected to the measuring unit for measuring the output voltage and current. The power supply is advantageously possibleto connect a keyboard and display for convenient communication. Based on the above proposal is to prototype and test a methodology for resources.Applying the methodology of testing a prototype power source are obtainedmeasurement results are compared with parameters on a computer simulation and verified by digital control.

Quantification of Hydraulic Descaling Mechanisms
Hrabovský, Jozef ; Toman,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dobeš, Ferdinand (referee) ; Horský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The issue of descaling is an important part of the forging and heat treatment of steel and semi products of steel production. Rising of new information and study of this process can increase efficiency and improve the surface quality after descaling. This thesis is focused on the mechanisms of the high pressure hydraulic descaling qualification and study of the chemical compounds of which the scales grown. To achieve all goals of this work and to get a comprehensive view of descaling process, few experimental measurements and numerical analyses were performed. All experimental measurements were focused on obtaining data about fundamental parameters and effects of the hydraulic descaling. The data obtained from measurements were applied to numerical analyses, which aimed to discover a deeper relation and to confirm the experimental results. This thesis can be divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to parameters of the water jet study. The main studied characteristics of the high pressure hydraulic water jet were heat transfer coefficient and impact pressure at different modes such as standard or pulsating water jet. Experimentally measured data of these parameters were applied in numerical analyses. The numerical analyses were focused on studying the impact of the water jet parameters on the stresses in the oxide scale layers. A further water jet analysis was focused on the influence of the individual parts of the hydraulic system (such as water chamber or stabilizer) on its characteristics. In this part different types of the water chambers in combination with different types of stabilizers on the impact pressure values were investigated. These measurements were supported by fluid flow analysis through the hydraulic system. The second part of this work was focused on getting mechanical properties of the oxide scales from specimens prepared from standard structural steel and specimens from silicon steel. In this thesis, the influence of various parameters and characteristics was studied on these two types of steel. Mechanical properties of oxide scale structures were carried out by the Small Punch Test method. To obtain the fundamental mechanical properties such as Young´s modulus, yield strength and ultimate strength, material parameters based on the measured data were optimized. The whole work was carried out in order to get valuable and comprehensive results about high pressure hydraulic descaling process and influencing factors as well as about oxide scales themselves.
