The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of labor relations in terms of optimization of wage costs in a selected company. The problem faced by the employer is the shortage of employees for a certain type of work and ineffective advertising of vacancies, which is an obstacle for the employer to attract new employees. The thesis consists of three parts. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to labor relations from a legal, tax and economic point of view. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis of a selected employer. The last part of the bachelor thesis presents proposals for solutions to the given problems including their economic evaluation.

The second part of this work is focused on the analysis of the expences related to labor costs of the selected employer. Several suggestions for optimizing personnel expences in order to find the best solution are listed in the third chapter.

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the problem of the labor-law relationships from the optimization of expenses point of view and the costs when the outsourcing is used are compared. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the definition of concepts from the perspective of law, economics, and taxes. In the practical part of this thesis the question of labor-law relationships of the mercantile company is being discussed and quantified expenses linked to outsourcing are calculated. Based on the performed analyses some real-world solutions leading to the optimization of the company's expenses are suggested.
