On the edge - art therapy as inspiration for art education

This bachelor's thesis named : On the Edge-Art Therapy as an Inspi rati on for Art Educati on, focuses on activities and approache s which are typical for art therapy and views them through the lens of an art teacher . The theoretical part of th is thesis focuses on education: it defines the go als of education, and the rol es and competencies of a teacher. It also focuses on the specifications of the education area of Arts and culture. This knowledge is then co mpared with the concept of art therapy. The thesis names the basic objectives of this discipline and lists t he main approaches and methods used in this field. Based on these definitions, the text summarises the fundamental differences between educational and therapeutic work and researches it s analogies . Additionally, the thesis provides us with examples o f specific activities and alters them for educational needs in the form o f a brief manual. This manual contains five activities that could function as an inspiration for art teachers. The didactics of this thesis o ffers a reflection and feedback on two select ed activities that were put to the test in the 4th grade of elementary school. Personal diagnostics-measurement methods of current and perspective staffs

The dissertation is focused on personnel diagnostics. It understands it as an instrument, which helps the company to choose the best employees, to compare an actual profile of personality of a candidate or an employee with an ideal profile of position, which is needed to fill, and to assess the potential of employees. It concentrates on methods of personnel diagnostics. It uses the classification of psychodiagnostic methods after Mojmír Svoboda. It describes two of three groups of diagnostic methods, which can be used in human resources management. They are clinical methods and testing. There are characteristics of all subsets of this classification. There are described other methods, which are used in HR management most frequently. The intention of the dissertation is to find and describe the diagnostic methods, which can be used in practice by personnel clerks without university degree in psychology or without practice. For these purposes there are described methods like interview, Thematic Apperception Cards after Evangelu, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and technique of Pack of Personnel Cards after Evangelu. Use of Drama in Education methods for teaching English

The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the introduction to drama as a separate object with its principles and the principles of working with drama, on its methods and techniques. We will introduce here the work of teachers of drama education and training opportunities in this field. In terms of psychology, the work deals with the development of speech in children and the ability to learn a new language, so that we get the most lasting effect in the preservation of the skills acquired in the memory. An integral part of this work is also didactic teaching of foreign languages and its characteristics. Required skills in a foreign language, then set the General Educational Programme for Basic Education, which allows us to set learning goals. The theoretical part is also a methodology to creating tutorials foreign language with the use of drama in education and its reflection. The practical part contains taught lessons on selected topics of the English language, where I used drama as a teaching resource.
Stimulation of strength, speed, and coordination, abilities in the ice hockey goaltender

Thesis title: Stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities in the ice hockey goaltender. Aim of the thesis: To describe theoretical basis of stimulation in ice hockey goaltenders. To design a model of goaltender's strength, speed and coordination training and to find suitable methods, means and forms of the stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities focused on youth teams and older goaltenders. Method: Qualitative analysis of document contents was used to identify the main theoretical basis of stimulation of goaltenders strength, speed and coordination abilities. Determiners of goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination development were described on the basis of deeper analysis. The main theoretical resources were finally integrated into a logical complex by the method of synthesis. On this basis the conception of strength, speed and coordination abilities stimulation could have been set up and suitable methods, means and forms of the goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination training could have been chosen with focus on youth teams and older goaltenders. Management of the development of teaching staff in secondary vocational schools

The thesis deals with the issues of the management of human resourses in secondary vocational schools. It describes the headteachers' attitude and experience in this area. The aim is to map, analyse and form conclusions, which will be useful and helpful in headteacher's work, to show a potential for teachers development, to apply knowledge from this area of the general management to a specific school environment and to show the meaning and and the growing importance of these processes in schools. The conclusions are based on research made in secondary vocationals schools among the headteachers and teachers with the questionnaire as a research tool. Issue of Integration of Foreign Pupils with Focusing on Their Origin Country

EXNEROVÁ, Marie. The Issue of Integration of Foreign Pupils with Focusing on Their Origin Country. Prague, 2014. Diploma thesis. UK, PedF. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of the integration in the Czech education system focusing on the issues and specifics inclusion of foreign pupils and on consideration of the impact of pupils' country of origin on the process. The theoretical part of diploma thesis mentions the reasons for the integration of foreigners. Moreover, it highlights why and from where they are coming to the Czech Republic. It captures the current legislation and the rights of foreigners who want to settle permanently in the Czech Republic. Further, it shows the analysis of different ways of educating pupils with special needs, the placement of foreign pupils at Czech elementary schools and intercultural differences, which may have impact on pupils' integration. The practical part focuses on comparing the available theoretical knowledge and the everyday reality of Czech teachers who teach foreign pupils and can work on their daily practice. Based on the comparison of theoretical and practical knowledge the author explains the personal point of view on the integration of foreign pupils and suggests some ideas how to overcome mentioned shortcomings....
The effectiveness of compensation practise after training at badminton players

Title: The effectiveness of compensation practices after training at badminton player Author: Adéla Krčková Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of compensation exercise after training on shortened muscles or muscle groups, the presence of trigger points in muscles and the presence of pain in musculoskeletal system at badminton players. Methods: This is a randomized pilot study based on a mixed type of research (quantitative, qualitative parameters), the methodological principle is a two-factor and multi level. Research was attended by 14 players aged 13-17 years , boys and girls. The whole group of players was examined by a physiotherapist , which included examination of shortened muscles by Janda, palpation assessment of the presence of trigger points in the muscles. The muscles which were assessed for the presence of trigger points were the same as the muscles , which in vestigates shortening and eventually every player will be asked for pain musculoskeletal system and evaluate numerical pain rating scale . Then , this group was divided by reported pain present in two groups: intervention and control group, so that in each group as far as possible the same number of players with pain. Verification of procedures of work with poetry in grades 6-9

This thesis is dealing with verification of procedures of work with poetry at grades 6- 9. Term of poetry and concisely summarized development of poetry for children and young is defined in the theoretical part. Chapter Poetry at school is dealing with position of poetry in curriculum documents, with the role of teacher by teaching poetry and with reading- books and methodical manuals, which teacher can use. Teaching methods and closer specified of methods destined especially for work with poetry are defined further. Theoretical part concludes characteristic of pupils at grades 6-9 from evolutionary psychologic's view. Practical part intorduces a brief characteristic of lections, there is an explanation of their structure and sorting. In the next part is explained methodology of choosing texts, description of the enviroment of primary school Hanspaulka, where the lections were verified, and pupils who worked with. After that follows each lection for different classes of upper level of primary school. The lections were verified and also evaluated. Supplemetnal worksheets which were used in lections as well are added.
