Ferechová, Daniela ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Macho, Oliver (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradci Králové Department of: Supervisor: Pharmaceutical Technology doc. PharmDr. Zdeňka Šklubalová, Ph.D. Consultant: Mgr. Jana Brokešová Student: Daniela Ferechová Title of Thesis: Study of the influence of tablet mixture composition on the flow and consolidation properties Good flow properties of a tabletting mixture play an important role in the manufacturing of tablets. Flow behaviour of the commercial (original) tabletting mixture with poor flowability was evaluated in this thesis. The main aim was to find alternative fillers that may improve its flow. The granulometric characteristics and flowability of eight types of lactose and microcrystalline cellulose and their binary mixtures were studied. In comparison to the original tabletting mixture, the proposed modified one with both original fillers were replaced with new ones showed significantly better flow properties with steady state flow through the hopper orifice having a diameter of 10 mm. The results were confirmed using powder rheometer. The lower shear stress necessary to achieve flow under different normal loads as well as approximately 72 times lower cohesion value were detected for the modified tabletting mixture.
Sleep and spatial navigation
MARKOVÁ, Stefanie
Sleep is an important part of our lives. It is one of the basic human needs and its importance for basic cognitive functions is a current research topic. The theoretical part of this work focuses on sleep and its effect on individual sleep stages. Closer attention was also paid to memory and spatial navigation, which is now being studied in connection with the effectiveness of the non-rapid eye movement (NREM) phase of sleep. NREM sleep is characterized by its slow-wave activity and the occurrence of sleep spindles, which could help consolidate the memory traces of spatial navigation. This effect has often been studied in rodents, but there have not been many human studies. The practical part of this work is therefore devoted to the effect of sleep as a prerequisite for the consolidation of memory trace. Our participants were made up of a group of healthy 20 students (n = 20) in equal gender representation (10 men and 10 women). They participated in repeated measurements and were varied from exposure to sleep with wakefulness, during the phase of integration of memory traces of egocentric and allocentric spatial navigation. This experimental measurement was performed using the Blue Velvet Arena at the National Institute of Mental Health.
Aplikace pro konsolidaci cloudových úložišť
MIKA, Tomáš
The topic of this thesis is to create an application for consolidation of cloud storage. The work describes the tools and technologies necessary to create such a system, while also providing a direct comparison with existing and available solutions. The thesis provides with data storage problematic in cloud storage of various providers and their security against loss, damage, manipulation, or machine analysis.
Deconsolidation of Venezuelan Democracy: Erosion of tha Party System, Neo-Populism and Repoliticization of the Armed Forces

Thesis PhDr. Radek Buben Deconsolidation of Venezuelan Democracy: Erosion of the Party System, Neo-Populism, and Repoliticization of the Armed Forces The thesis Deconsolidation of Venezuelan Democracy: Erosion of the Party System, Neo- Populism, and Repoliticization of the Armed Forces addresses the process of deconsolidation of democracy in Venezuela between 1973 and 1993. The analysis is based on both theoretical and comparative approach embedded notably in institutional comparative political science (analysis of systemic and institutional conditions of the analyzed process), historical sociology and political theory (phenomena of populism and neo-populism) and approaches of traditional historical analysis of political process in a particular period of time. The theoretical part of the text is focused on the issue of democracy in Latin America in general. More concretely, it concerns with typologies of political regimes, institutionalization of party systems, civil-military relations and the so-called resources curse theory. The great deal of the text covers analysis of populism, its definition and the existing research of the phenomenon. The starting point of the empirical part presents the establishment of the petrostate and bipartism in 1973. The analysis ends with the decomposition of the...
The Catholic Church and its influence on the transition and subsequent consolidation of democracy
Labutta, Michael ; Koubek, Jiří (advisor) ; Buben, Radek (referee)
(anglicky) The bachelor thesis will deal with comparison of countries that have undergone transitions and influence of the Catholic Church there is a fairly strong. In particular, it will be about Poland and Chile. In the introduction I tried to cover the position of the Church in these states for the duration of the undemocratic regime (if it stood on the side of the regime, covert opposition, or whether they acted directly against the regime). Another part will deal whit what the relationship with the Church undemocratic regimes sought. Whether enforce repression, co- optation, or some form of "tacit agreement". In conclusion and in response to previous questions, I will try to answer the question whether the Catholic Church was in those countries open to cooperation and advocated more confrontational stance, and what was this attitude affect the form, course and outcome of transition, and as reflected in future consolidation of democracy.
The role of the Roman Catholic Church during the transition to democracy in Poland and Chile
Labutta, Michael ; Štefek, Martin (advisor) ; Květina, Jan (referee)
(anglicky) The thesis will be addressed by comparing the states which have undergone a transition to democracy and at the same time you can observe the strong influence of the Roman Catholic Church. Specifically, it will be about Poland and about Chile. In the beginning, I tried to capture the position of the Church in these states for the duration of the undemocratic regime (if it stood on the side of the regime, covert opposition, or whether they acted directly against the regime). I will try to describe what influenced this attitude - the injustices of the regime, historical context. Another part will look at what the relationship with the Church undemocratic regimes sought. Whether enforce repression, cooptation, or some form of "tacit agreement". In response to previous questions in the conclusion I will try answer whether the Roman Catholic Church was open to cooperation and advocated more confrontational stance, and how did this attitude affect the form, course and outcome of transition in these countries.

Effect of the change in the scope of the consolidation group on the economic situation of the selected group
Zámečníková, Pavlína ; Langrová, Blanka (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of consolidated financial statement in a selected concern and in its economic appreciation before and after the expansion of the consolidated group. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical knowledge for consolidated financial statement and company value which are applied in second part of the thesis in the estimation of company value and the creation of new consolidated financial statements related to the expansion of the consolidated group. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicted to the comparison of new and old consolidated financial statements.
Effect of Enlargement of Consolidated Group on its Economy
Peňázová, Lucie ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis describes elaboration of consolidation of company financial statement and valorisation of its economical status before extending the consolidation group and afterwards. First part of the thesis consists of theoretical basis used for consolidation of financial statement, which are later used in the practical part of the thesis, where new consolidated financial statrments related to extension of consolidation group are being made. Conclusion of the thesis includes comparison of consolidated financial statements.
