Design of a milling fixture for four-axis CNC trimming of composite parts
Hibš, Dominik ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a milling fixture for trimming of folding propellers for the company Mejzlik Propellers s.r.o. Firstly, an adequate HAAS DM-2 machine and UniCut Dron milling tool were selected. The cutting force was then quantified at 9.2 N. Once the cutting force was established, the clamping surface could be designed and the clamping force set at 317.3 N. After considering several fixture options, the final design was selected. The selected design was used to program the CNC machine in Fusion 360. A technical and economic evaluation followed, when the total price of the product was 41,671 CZK and the cost of machine cutting one propeller was 32.60 CZK, while the cost of manual trimming was 29.10 CZK
Design of a group milling fixture for clamping components
Kalous, Jan ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a group milling jig for four different shaped components. These parts are components of a baking line and are designed to clamp baking matrices for wafer production. The semi-product for all the parts is a casting made of EN-GJS-400-15, cast iron with spheroidal graphite. Machining on a horizontal milling centre MS NH5000 DCG from DMG Mori Czech s.r.o. was chosen to produce all four parts. A list of tools and gauges was made. Subsequently, a technological process was created for the selected part with the designation HAAC-62836-001. Then the cutting forces from the individual cutter inserts, clamping, and friction forces were calculated to verify that the machined piece could move in the jigs. This thesis includes calculations of both jigs and evaluation according to the technical aspect.
Design of production technology for a distribution block
Večeřa, Jiří ; Píška, Miroslav (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The master's thesis focuses on the design of manufacturing technology for a selected component made of ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the technologies used in component manufacturing, such as turning, milling, drilling, surface grinding, honing, thermal energy debburing and phosphating. The subsequent sections specify the specific production machines and cutting tools utilized in the component manufacturing process. In the practical part, a technological procedure is proposed, describing the sequence of manufacturing operations required for producing the component. It also includes inspection operations for measuring tolerances. Additionally, manufacturing instructions are provided, offering a detailed description of individual manufacturing operations and specifying the frequency of tolerance checks. The thesis concludes with a technical-economic evaluation, summarizing the material costs for production preparation, the costs for ensuring the production itself, and evaluating the manufacturing technology.
Application of GibbsCAM software for machining
Gerbel, Jakub ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The main subject of this thesis is the application of GibbsCAM software in machining. In this thesis, a system analysis of the problem solved is carried out, especially concerning CAD/CAM systems, machining of deep pocket corners and the distribution of touch probes. From a practical point of view, the work is realized with the company JHV - GROUP s.r.o. The goal of the work is to design the actual component and create a 3D model in the CAD system CREO Parametric. Programming of its production with application of in-process measurement was performed in GibbsCAM software. The proposed procedure is verified in Vericut software. Subsequently, the production of the part is realized on a selected CNC machine tool and then the measurement on a 3D coordinate measuring machine. The application of in-process measurement on the selected CNC machine with a FANUC control system, is realized by Renishaw Inspection Plus measurement cycles. The obtained results are evaluated and discussed in the final chapter. From the results drawn, recommendations and suggestions for the industrial enterprise are made.
Production technology for an ignition stator body of the Jawa Pionýr motorcycle
Zeman, Petr ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The Jawa 50 motorcycles, produced in several models between 1958 and 1982, were equipped with several types of ignitions. From the current point of view, they are not satisfactory. The bachelor´s thesis describes the original designs, the commercial and amateur modifications of the ignition and its advantages and disadvantages, and deals with the innovative design and variants of mounting by individual coils. The work further deals with production of the ignition body by choosing a semi-finished product, machines and tools and compilation of a technological procedure and drawing documentation.
Soubor video tutoriálů pro výrobu DPS pomocí programů KiCAD, FlatCAM a hobby CNC frézky
FALADA, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis deals with instructions in the form of video tutorials for creating a printed circuit board. KiCAD and FlatCAM programs are chosen for the design and a hobby CNC milling machine is used for the production itself. After watching the video tutorials, the person should be able to design and create a simple printed circuit board according to the mentioned method and have an idea of the construction of more complex printed circuit boards.
Methodology of working with 3D parts from SolidWorks through SolidCAM for milling and engraving on a CNC milling machine
KAŠPAR, Filip
The theoretical part introduces the technique of working in 3D modeler SolidWorks. This part is mainly devoted to 3D elements and marginally also sketching. This section is followed by a description of the environment in SolidCAM and theories related to how to work with this software. In the Practical part there is a detailed description of creating a new project in SolidCAM, explained on a specific engraved part. The conclusion of the work is a generated control code for a CNC machine tool.
Control of CNC machine with a focus on the milling center EMCO CONCEPT MILL 105
PÍCHA, Jindřich
The introductory part of the thesis focuses on the basic terms used for control of CNC machine tools and a detailed description of the Heidenhain control system. The practical part is devoted to the description of general principles for composing functional programs for the CNC milling machine and a summary of all the findings of this subject. A methodical manual that can be used as teaching material can be found in the last part of the thesis.
Mobile milling machining center
Kedajová, Kristýna ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design of a mobile milling machining center with a horizontal spindle position. In contrast to currently manufactured mobile machines, which are often attached to the work piece, this proposal is directed towards creating a machine concept that can be operated in a conventional manner. The purchase of a machine tool is very expensive and represents a large investment, increasing mobility could allow it to be rented and reduce the need to tie up funds. In order to make this possible, a number of factors need to be considered, such as the design of the machine, the design of the transport packaging and the method of transport itself. These factors are considered in the thesis and design variants are created based on these factors. Then the final design is selected from these variants and drawings are created for it. The solution is supported by the necessary technical calculations.
