Legal Protection of Cloud Computing Abstract The thesis deals with the topic of cloud computing with a particular focus on a contractual regulation of the supply of Software as a Service (SaaS). The aim of this work is to provide an insight into the issue of the obligation arising from the supply of cloud services and the various ways to contractually capture the aspects of the service between provider and user. The first part defines the technology of cloud computing with the focus on one specific model, namely Software as a Service. Furthermore, cloud computing is embedded in the legal framework within the internal legal order and the EU legal order. The second part of the work already analyzes the obligation that arises between the provider and the user of SaaS cloud services which needs to be contractually treated. Attention is paid to the essential requirements concerning contracts, such as the applicable law, liability of the parties, change or termination of the contract, as well as requirements that are specific to the SaaS contracts, such as the issue of incorporating intellectual property rights in SaaS contracts, service level agreement and acceptable use policy. The aim of the thesis is to examine the areas of cloud computing that presuppose legal regulation and to describe the existing level of this regulation in the Czech Republic. I focus on the issue of copyright and I also deal with the question of whether it is necessary to overcome the common understanding of copyrighted works as unassignable among things in the sense of law. The attention is drawn to two European directives dealing with the provision of digital content, digital content services and the sale of goods with digital elements that lack transposition. Last but not least, I ask whether it is necessary to conclude a license agreement for the provision of software via cloud. I want to contribute with my thesis to raising the legal awareness of SaaS users and providers. At the same time, my work can help students and practicing lawyers interested in the legal regulation of this area. With the chapter on the amendment to the Civil Code I would also like to address the legislative authorities with a contribution to the current discussion on the legal qualification of data. Security Monitoring of Applications in Azure

This thesis combines two major topics of today's IT. Security and cloud computing is something that every company is dealing with today and entire countries are aware of their importance. The thesis deals with the monitoring and security of services in Microsoft Azure secured exclusively by native services. The goal of the thesis is to find out whether native Azure security services can replace the shortcomings in the security of the applications themselves. If these services are not able to do that, it must be decided whether their usage is beneficial. The theoretical part deals with cloud computing and information security. The analytical part describes Skoda Auto and the Microsoft Azure service, including the important services it offers. The design part documents the testing and the results obtained by it. The result of the work is the finding that the deployment of monitoring and security in the cloud does not solve the problem of insufficiently secure applications. However, it can contribute to security, not only to the security of the applications themselves, but also to the security of the entire cloud environment.

The thesis provides legal insight of the Cloud computing with a particular focus on a specific cloud service called software as a service (SaaS). There are discussed all cloud services and distribution models of the cloud infrastructure as well as its legal aspects. The thesis analyses legal requirements of contractual provisions for a provision of the SaaS services. The substantial part deals also with types of licenses, which can be used in relation to the provision of the SaaS services. The practical part of the thesis firstly contains above all the legal framework of data protection and its legal requirements on contractual relation between provider and customer of the cloud Services. Trends in Enterprise Information Systems with Emphasis on CRM Systems

The intention of this master thesis is the presentation of the selected trends in CRM information systems. The opening part is aimed at management of customer relationships, which are analysed in terms of marketing and ICT technologies. This part also introduces the readers to the architecture of CRM information systems and to possible ways of implementing of these solutions. Moreover, it presents some vendors of CRM solutions that are leaders on the market. The following part is solely focused on the trends in CRM information systems. These trends are primarily related to cloud computing, social CRM and the internet of things. The next part of this thesis applies the findings from the previous chapters in a practical way. It deals with a creation of the request for a new CRM solution in an actual company from SME segment. The introduction of this chapter presents the chosen enterprise and analyses the current state of CRM and ICT in this company. The next part defines expected goals and the main requirements for a new CRM solution in the company. Platform-independent Middleware for Distributed Parallel Tasks

The thesis presents a middleware faciliating parallel execution of tasks expressed in the Java programming language on many computers. When started at a number of machines, this software creates a so called cloud that enables splitting the task into smaller subtasks and subsequent independent execution of these subtasks at difeferent nodes. The presented software distributes subtasks throughout the cloud automatically and it performs the following collection of results. The text begins with a brief introduction to the topic of distributed computations and a discussion of possible approaches to the subject. The main part of the work describes software architecture and topology of the system, demonstrates its usage at two sample tasks and gives a brief comparison with two other projects.
Cloud Computing in Public Sector - Benefits and Risks

(anglicky) This thesis deals with benefits and risks of using cloud computing in public sector institutions. The thesis focuses mainly on the usage of public cloud deployment model. The thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. The first chapter presents definition and basic characteristics of cloud computing. The second part consists of PESTL analysis that describes the impact of macro-environmental factors (namely political, economical, social, technological and legal factors) on the use of cloud computing in public sector institutions. The third part presents SWOT analysis of cloud computing and its use in public sector. The fourth chapter presents a case study of the implementation of cloud computing services at The Faculty of Arts of the Charles University. The results of the conducted analysis tend to positive effects of cloud computing use in public sector institutions, presuming a proper risk analysis is done before implementation begins. This thesis deals with rather comprehensive topic of unauthorized use of the copyright on the Internet. The aim of this work is to present selected specifics of the online environment as well as the challenges this environment represents from legislative point of view. Presented paper is divided into five chapters, among which first three focus on the subjected issue in general, whereas the chapter four presents modern and constantly developing cloud computing technology. Design of inter-operational transport in a manufacturing company according to the Industry 4.0 concept

Based on the description and definition of technology and processes falling within the vision of the fourth industrial revolution with the aim of creating intelligent factories, this diploma thesis deals with the principles of the Industry 4.0 concept in Hilti's production plant with a focus on transport and supply of production equipment. The aim of the work is to create a comprehensive proposal that takes into account all the necessary aspects associated with upgrading the existing state of inter-operational transport in a particular production line to fully automated, flexible and autonomous transport of materials and products in the context of Industry 4.0. A prerequisite for creating a design is the connection of automatically guided vehicles (AGVs) serving individual transport orders. The selection of the vehicle was made taking into account the safety of movement, the method of charging, the system and network integrity of existing and proposed technologies and components. The intention is not only to automate the inter-operational service, but also on the basis of the created automation concept, the ability to autonomously procure the flow of material and products. The mathematical calculation of capacity planning in the production line helped to determine the total load and the number of vehicles needed for continuous procurement of transport requirements. The result of the design part is also the design of specific transport routes and transport conditions that AGV vehicles must comply with in order to maintain a high level of safety. Transparency and a constant overview of transported products is provided by the presented scheme for identification of production batches, Auto-ID system. The financial efficiency of the whole project elaborated in the diploma thesis is evaluated as payable after 4 years from the implementation of the proposal.
