Perspectives of organizing a winter lacrosse tournament

Title: Perspectives of lacrosse tournament organisation Objectives: The main objective is analysis of the previous editions of the tournament organised by SK Lacrosse Jižní Město, and coming up with suggestions on how to improve it in the following years. Methods: Case Study is a method used for conducting the survey. Data is collected through documents analysis and semi-structured interviews. Based on the collected data, analysis of the internal environment is carried out. Results: Winter lax cup is a well organised event for it's size with a potential to grow and annual profit. His biggest virtue is the modern sport hall where the tournament takes place. However his weak factor is small support of the event from sponsors. The biggest danger for the tournament organisation is taking over the hall by floorball teams. The use of food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness

Title: The use of food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness Objectives: The objective of this work is to find out the use of specific food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness. Methods: Data were obtained through quantitative research, which was conducted through electronic questioning on the platform Survio.com. Subsequently, a statistical evaluation of collected information was performed. Results: The evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey showed, that 86 % (111) of respondents use food supplements, for up to 4 of them without any side effects. The use of food supplements is bigger by men than by women. Regeneration support, improving sports performance and building muscle mass are the most common motives for using food supplements. On the other hand, respondents who do not use food supplemets claim, that they do not need them. For respondents, the best sources for obtaining information are the professional literature and the internet. The internet is also the best source for acquisition of food supplements. The most commonly used food supplements are protein products, vitamins and minerals, primarily from the Extrifit brand. Key words: Nutritional supplementation, sport, fitness

Title: Evaluation of the effectiveness of communication campaigns O2TV Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of launching campaign O2 Sport (2015) and to compare O2TV campaigns for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. After that, improvements are proposed for the overall communication of O2 television and its sports channels both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Methods: Used method in the thesis was analysing documents. This method was used to evaluate the O2 Sport launching campaign and to evaluate other campaigns from 2015, 2016, 2017. Results: The results of the work revealed that the O2 Sport launching campaign was sophisticated and effective. Even comparison of the campaigns throughout the evaluated years and based on all considerations, the most successful year was 2015 when the O2 Sport campaign was also launched. v anglickém jazyce: Incidence and management of muscle imbalances in physically active and inactive populations: Objective rehabilitation solutions for populations with nonspecific back pain Summary Totally 258 patients with chronic low back pain aged 51,5 +8,4 years were treated for three weeks in the Rehabilitation Centre focused on lumbar back pain. We observed incidence of muscle dysbalances and accomplished their exact objectiveness using the Tergumed system. We tried to compare and solve their mutual influence during the rehabilitation treatment. We compared differences between physically active and physically inactive population, the impact of total motivation,age and other factors on the improvement of strenght, motion, dysbalances and total pain relief.Significant improvement of movement and muscle strenght p <0,001 were documented on the Tergumed in three weeks.The physically active population and patients motivated.by using the Tergumed preferred active exercises to passive therapy. We also observed improvement in finger-floor distance and reduction of pain, documented by the visual analogue scale, decrease in body weight and cholesterol level (p <0,001). A review of the most used methods for sport service validation was completed. We focused on measurement according to subjective criteria, where the service quality is evaluated by the customers themselves. A practical part is dealt with using cross-cultural validation of the SERVQUAL method (PARASURAMAN, ZEITHAML, BERRY, 1988), originally validated for American customers. Our questionnaire was translated by modified direct translation and, in terms of pilot standardization, was tested on a sample of 46 participants from two fitness centres. Title: Power output and selected cardiorespiratory parameters in elite athletes during the third to fourth week after COVID-19 infection Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare power output and selected cardiorespiratory parameters in elite athletes before and three to four weeks after COVID- 19 infection. Since the elite athletes undergo these health checks on a yearly basis, it is possible to compare the data before and immediately after the infection without difficulty. Methods: This thesis has a character of a quantitative research based on testing the outcomes with confirming or denying hypotheses. Out of the total of 64 elite athletes with the CPET data after the infection 17 athletes, fulfilling other criteria, were selected. I was provided with the data by Centrum sportovní medicíny z. s.. These values became the foundation for statistical hypotheses testing. Analysis of the data was done by means of a pair t-test in R software. Results: There were no significant differences in the majority of the spirometry parameters. Only the inspiration vital capacity was significantly higher (p = 0,004) after the COVID-19 infection in 14 athletes with 0,21±0,18 l improvement. The thesis "Influence of the Czech News Agency's coverage on the content of sport sections of Internet portals Aktuálně.cz, iDnes.cz and Sport.cz" examines the influence of agency news on the production of sports sections of selected news servers on the basis of quantitative content analysis. In the theoretical part of the thesis, basic information about news agencies, the Czech News Agency (hereinafter referred to as "ČTK"), sports, sports journalism and online media is described. The concept of agenda setting is also explained and the analysed internet portals are briefly described. The practical part of the thesis presents, in addition to an explanation of the research methodology used, the analysis itself, which was carried out on a total of 1882 articles from all three servers for the period from 17th September 2020 to 30th September 2020. Based on the data obtained, all six research questions are subsequently answered. Five questions concern the correspondence of the published texts with the agency news and the claimed authorship, while the last one focuses on the authorship of the published photographs. The media image of the 1956 and 1960 Summer olympic Games in the Czechoslovak press

This diploma thesis named "The media image of the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympic Games in the Czechoslovak contemporary press" follows the media coverage of the XVI. Summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 and the XVII. Summer Olympics in Rome in 1960, in selected Czechoslovak periodicals. To establish a media image, the diploma thesis utilises a qualitative content analysis, comparing the transformation of Olympic news reporting in Melbourne and Rome. It focuses on media content and its permeation through the communist ideology. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and methodological part. The theoretical part begins with the historical development of Czechoslovakia after 1948, when the Communists seized power, and then characterizes the "melting period". The thesis also inquires into the development of media in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s with an emphasis on media legislation, including the introduction of selected periodicals: Rudé Právo (Red Law), Svobodné slovo (Free Word) and Československý sport (Czechoslovak Sport). The methodological part maps how the Czechoslovak press informed its readers about the Olympic events in Melbourne and in Rome. Title: In-line skating training methodology for the preschool children Objectives: The aim of this work was to create a methodology for teaching inline skating to preschool children, mainly in the form of games. Methods: The literary recherche and the empiricism were used in this thesis. The theoretical part was written based on the literary recherche and contains essential information regarding the in-line skating, history of this sport and information regarding the development regularities in the preschool age. The empiricism and the literary recherche particularly are combined in the practical part. Individual games and exercises were created based on my empiricism obtained during the teaching of the in-line skating of the preschool children. Results: Composition of the simple methodology plan of the in-line skating training in the form of a game. Selected preparatory exercises and games shall the children tackle without major issues. The thesis contains following simple steps - falls, standing up, postures and basics of the ride forward and backward. All these movement skills can be developed in the form of a game. Title: Optimal conditions of caffeine use and its effect on sports performance Objectives: Based on current scientific knowledge, summarize the effect of caffeine on various aspects of sports performance, and also to determine the optimal conditions for the use of this substance to maximize the ergogenic effect. Methods: Systematic literary research Results: The ideal dose of caffeine to improve athletic performance is in the range of 3- 6 mg/kg, and most preferably in the form of tablets 60 minutes before exercise. This substance has been shown to improve aerobic endurance performance, sprint speed and cognitive function such as accuracy and attention in athletes. Caffeine in trained individuals may also improve anaerobic endurance, maximum and endurance strength, simple reaction time and other cognitive functions, but further studies are needed. .
