Study of main mycoremediation aspects - effect of bioavailability, biodegradation and toxicity of organic pollutants

Many organic compounds are released to the environment and can be harmful to living organisms. These compounds are often persistent and toxic. Some are mutagens, carcinogens, endocrine disruptors or they can cause an increase in bacterial resistance. They tend to accumulate in nature and their transformation is a long-term process. Therefore, various remediation techniques are needed for decontamination. Remediation and bioremediation processes depend on many factors which should be critically evaluated. This dissertation thesis studies the relationship between bioavailability, biodegradation and toxicity of polychlorinated biphenyls, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and fluoroquinolone antibiotics. These compounds of different origin, character and properties were degradated by ligninolytic fungi. Desorption behaviour of pollutants from historically contaminated sites, degradation potential of ligninolytic fungi, ongoing degradation mechanisms, transformation products and their toxicity were studied as important factors for evaluation of mycoremediation and its environmental impact. The results show that determination of bioaccessible fraction by sequential supercritical fluid extraction is very useful for precise prediction of biodegradability of pollutants. Wireless Localization Module with Low-Power Firmware Based on RTOS

This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of the wireless localization module, using UWB technology with emphases on low-power firmwre based on RTOS. Wireless localization is based on TDoA algorithm.  The resulting HW module is designed as a four layer PCB, based on MCU crf52832 (ARM Cortex M4) and UWB module DevaWave DW1000. Firmware is implemented using FreeRTOS with emphasis on low power consumption. For hardware implementation, Eagle CAD was used. Firmware is implemented in C and Assembly programming languages.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the process of designing, manufacturing, and programming of an embedded device based on a microcontroller with an ARM processor. The primary field of application of this device is motor vehicles. However, there has been an emphasis on universality during the design stage. The thesis begins with a summary of theoretical knowledge concerning this topic. Then follows a description of the design, manufacturing, and programming of the device. Finally, the functionality of the device is verified with the use of testing hardware.

Both additive and subtractive manufacturing methods are controlled by instructions in Gcode, making it possible to utilize both technologies in one modular device. Main objective is to design, construct, and calibrate multipurpose machine based on RepRap 3D printer, which will be able to use attached spindle to precisely mill light materials. Particular emphasis is given to ability to carve a pattern and drill holes in plated substrate in order to create functional PCB by incision.

Laboratory device for courses BPC-VIA/MZPD

Bachelor's thesis deals with design of laboratory device for BPC-VIA and MZPD courses, device works with data-aquisition card NI myDAQ and LabVIEW enviroment. Document consists of description of NI myDAQ, description and design of waveform generator, description and design of sensor circuits for temperature, humidity, illuminance, revolutions, noise and vibrations. Then a design of device and it's power source, buttons and fans, design of PCB and price calculation. The last chapter describes example programs that are made in LabVIEW enviroment and use signals from device.
Bismuth Low Temperature Solder Pastes

This bachelor thesis deals with low-temperature soldering pastes with different bismuth content. It focuses on material, process and environmental influences that affect the reliability of the soldered joint. The effect of the elements on the eutectic solder alloy Sn-Bi58 is also described here. For the practical part two surface finishes (ENIG and immersion tin) and four solder pastes (PF743-PQ10, PF735-PQ10, PF734-PQ10, SAC305) are chosen. Tested PCBs are subjected to isothermal aging and cyclic temperature tests. Electrical resistance has changed during thermal aging.
Collection of meteorological data using the MQTT protocol

Cílem této práce je sběr meteorologických dat pomocí protokolu MQTT ze dvouvytvořených meteorologických stanic založených na mikrokontrolérech typu ESP32 a ESP8266. Práce pojednává o textovému formátu JSON, jeho struktuře podle řady kritérií a jeho dalšímu využití při přenosu dat z meteorologické stanice. Další fází je studium a srovnání hlavních charakteristik mikrokontrolérů ESP32 a ESP8266. Na základě zadání byly pak vytvořeny autonomní meteorologické stanice. Dále byly porovnány existující MQTTservery pro sběr, ukládání a přenos meteorologických dat mezi klientem a serverem. Závěrečnou fází práce byla tvorba programu v jazyce C#, který generuje grafy na základě hodnot aktuální teploty a relativní vlhkosti přijatých ze serveru MQTT. Výzkumný projekt se skládá ze dvou autonomních meteorologických stanic, ze kterých jsou přenášena meteorologická data v reálném čase na server MQTT prostřednictvím bezdrátového připojení. Server pak dále poskytuje data pro aplikaci v počítači uživatele, kde program kreslí v reálném čase grafy na základě dat přijatých z MQTT serveru.
DC motor controller module

This thesis focuses on the design and creation of control unit for DC motors drives. A principle on which the DC motor is based, a method of its control and a possibility to obtain current information about the position are briefly described in this work. After that, the different types of buses for communication with a superior system and justification of the chosen one, are presented. In the next section, there is a special emphasis on creation of the suitable driver model and a design of the elecrical schematic and PCB. The end of the thesis contains a description of commission a PCB and testing the main functions.
IoT with Reconfigurable Nodes in Python

The main goal of this thesis is creation and implementation of monitoring software for reconfigurable ESP32 nodes equipped with the existing operating system MPOS. This system is then used to solve specific task. The monitoring system is capable of loading, activating and maintaining applications written in MicroPython language that is running on these nodes. Nodes can communicate with other applications using the MQTT broker.
