Threats and opportunities in motivating senior workers in education with experience in further education.

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation of managers in the field of further education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how kindergarten principals with practice perceive their own motivation to continue their education, or to identify a certain key critical period during their career as a kindergarten principal. Attention is paid to the characteristics of managers, their motivation, personal development and further education. Issues related to the burnout syndrome, possible factors causining the resigns of a manager, fundamental obstacles in motivation and critical moments of managers in their careers are also elaborated. The thesis includes qualitative research based on personal interviews with educational leaders, which took the form of semi-structured interviews. Qualitative research was chosen on the basis that appropriate methods could be used to achieve the stated aim of the thesis. A research sample was selected and specified for the qualitative research work. The research sample for this thesis was selected as the headmistresses of kindergartens who have long experience in the position, six years or more. The readiness of students and graduates of secondary school of education for art activities in kindergarten.

The theme of this bachelor's thesis is "The preparation of secondary pedagogy school students and graduates focusing on art activities in an infant school". The main objective is to uncover how students and graduates evaluate and assess their own readiness for performing art-themed activities in a given infant school establishment. In the theoretical section of this thesis I looked into the characteristics of secondary schools. Furthermore, I attempted to analyse and describe what methodology was used for composing art lessons on these schools. During the analysis I followed up on the Framework Education Programme for the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy, along with the School Education Programme; both of which are the merit of this research. Moreover, I utilized the theoretical section for my description of pre-school education, the art-themed activities in infant schools and the personality of a pre-school teacher and an art teacher. The crucial chapter of the theoretical section is the one that evaluates the readiness of students from the point of view of the professional competences and self-efficacy. Usage of Petr Horáček's books in dramatical education at work with children in preschool age

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using Petr Horáček's books in drama education with preschool children. The theoretical part characterizes the development of the preschool child. At the same time, it defines dramatic education, its specifics in kindergarten, the goals and the personality of the teacher. Then the methods and techniques of dramatic education, its connection with literature, criteria for the selection of literature and appropriate literary genres for preschool age. The last chapter is devoted to Petr Horáček and his books, on which the drama lessons in the practical part are based on. The practical part consists of ten lessons on chosen books, which are: Silly Suzy Goose, The Mouse who ate the moon, A Best Friend for Bear, Blue penguin, The Best Place in the World, The Perfect Present, The Greedy goat, The Mouse who wasn't scared, Puffin Peter and Elephant. The lessons are implemented in one heterogeneous group of children in preschool age. These lessons explore how can books be used practically in dramatical education. After the implementation of all lectures, reflection and dialogue with children is conducted, looking for understanding of recent lesson which is evaluated afterwards. Burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education

This bachelor's thesis deals with the burnout syndrom of teachers in kindergarten. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part observes basic terms and definitions of the work. It defines the conditions that leads to the burnout syndrome and how can we work with it, what are the consequences and what can we do to prevent the syndrome from happening. The practical part discovers how the syndrome affected the life of the teachers and how often did they came across that issue. It follows particular cases of the burnout syndome and detects why the syndome had happend and how did the interviewee deal with it. The research was assigned as a questionare to teachers in kindergarten.
Motivation of teaching staff from a selected kindergarten for further education and professional development

The thesis focuses on the motivation of teaching staff for further education, the use of their potential and the professional development of individuals. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is mainly focused on motivation, motivational program and the teaching staff itself. Attention is also paid to further education, lifelong learning and curriculum and strategy documents. Within the research part, four research questions have been set based on the aim of the thesis. The empirical part is based on the research design of the case study. Within the case study, both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods are used to obtain data. For the teaching staff, a questionnaire survey method is used, while data is collected from the school management through a semi-structured interview. From the data collected, certain barriers are identified that make it difficult for the teaching staff to further their education and development. Each research question contains graphs that were obtained through the questionnaire survey, which are then described in detail. Data collected through interviews with the headteacher and headmaster are also included in each research question.
