Theme of this bachelor thesis is scheme of database for multi-national technological company. Information in database are merged information about ownership of hardware and software. Standard processes are set based on SQL language. This process highly made the work easier for users that work with information. Thanks to this design, it was easier to reduce amount of accesses to one third over the initial status.

The main goal of this thesis is create basic database for records of material, orders and customers. First part of the thesis contains teoretical resources for complete understanding of the problem. Second part is monitoring and analyzing current status in the company. Third part is focusing on desing of processed solution, which is based on analyze of current status and on requirements of the company.

The content of this thesis is focused on information system for the registration of the parking cards for town Uherský Brod. The thesis contains the overall assessment of existing information system (thereinafter IS) and a current situation of IT technologies at the municipal office. The main part of the thesis is proposal and subsequent creation of broader program unit IS. After the accomplishment of this thesis it will be possible to implement newly designed system into the existing IS of municipal office.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a proposal of informational system for C&K corporation. This company has got two separated commercial premises and deals with distribution and servicing of three different brands of cars. This diploma thesis could act as a basis for programming company which would decide to create an informational system exactly for C&K corporation in future. Among others the tendency of this proposal is to make a provision for different informational needs of certain imployees in certain working positions. Another aim is also to propose the concept of informational system with the emphasis on the maximum efficiency and user’s comfort.

The resulting database design should find application in the field of tourism, which would simplify the problematic situation, relating to the verification of free accommodation capacity, transportation capacity and making reservation. Part of this work is to analyze the current situation, the problem specification, theoretical background and custom design solutions.
