	Evaluation of the development of the region of National park Czech Switzerland on the basis of social, economic and environmental indicators Kolská, Kateřina ; Geuss, Erik (advisor) ; Branžovský, Antonín (referee) The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the development of the region of National park Czech Switzerland on the basis of the development of social, economic and environmental dimension. The debate about sustainable development which has been held world-wide for many years is connected to discussion of the instruments which would be able to evaluate implementation of sustainability concept. Many indicators were already evolved on world-wide, national and local level. Mainly local indicators will be discussed and a set of indicators suitable for small municipalities will be applied. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to definition, history, principles and other implications of sustainable development. Next chapter is addressed on the indicators of development. Theoretical base of development of indicators is amended with a summary of existing indicators, especially on the local level in the thesis. The region of the National park Czech Switzerland is introduced in the practical part of the thesis. Nine municipalities whose cadastral territory is partially located on the territory of national park belong to the region. For the evaluation of their development a set of indicators was chosen on the basis of predefined criteria. Detailed record
