Securing of Foundation Pit in Brno for the Underground Garage at the Janáček Theatre
Zapletal, Adam ; Štefaňák, Jan (referee) ; Masopust, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the sheeting construction real construction pit underground parking garage at the Janáček Theatre in Brno. It contains the description of the possible solutions to the appreciation of their advantages and disadvantages. The goal is to choose one of these methods based on evaluation of engineering-geological survey appropriate method to ensure that the construction pit. For this method to perform static analysis and process design documentation.
The Design of Multifunctional Building Foundations in Olomouc
Dubčák, Pavel ; Boštík,, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The topic of my master`s thesis is to design foundations of multifunctional building in Olomouc. Another part of this master`s thesis deals with safe and economic design solution of shoring wall. This construction is used to built underground parts of the building. The last part of the work contains description of technological proces of the geotechnics constructions execution. The drawing documentation is also included.
Sheeting of Foundation Pit
Vodáček, Ondřej ; Chalmovský, Juraj (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
First part of the thesis talks about pit sheeting in general, including shafts and trenches as well as pits, however pits are the very main topic and therefore described in details. This part also discusses earth pressure and groundwater issues as applied loads, yet only marginally. Second part demonstrates a particular sheeting structure and its calculation. All presumptions are established here, including double-anchored sheet pile wall geometry, spoken earth pressure loads and groundwater loads plus heavy equipment load during a construction. The calculating process is shown using computer softwares (Plaxis 2D, GEO5) and also in a non-software way using just pen and paper. At the very end of thesis an ultimate limit state (ULS) of sheet piles is assessed, software and non-software results are compared to each other and discussed.
Comparison of two alternatives of deep excavation design
Krejzar, Vojtěch ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The thesis focuses on numerical modeling of a 30 m deep excavation using the finite element method (FEM). The excavation is situated in Luzern, Switzerland. The subsoil is formed by inclined sandstone or siltstone layers; one of them tends to form a dangerous slip surface. The bachelor’s thesis compares 2 alternatives: Alternative A represents a combination of an anchored pile wall and sprayed concrete in the lower part of the excavation, Alternative B represents a full height anchored pile wall. The thesis comprises of the description of modeling, determination of material parameters and structural members’ inputs, defines calculation phases and predicts the structure deformations. The mathematical model is created using PLAXIS 2D software.
Design of the Foundation Pit Sheeting
Valkó, Attila ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of the foundation pit sheeting of a multifunctional building in Brno - Pisárky. The thesis contains the description of various styles of foundation pit sheeting. The purpose of the thesis is designing an appropriate method of sheeting, in this case an anchored excavation method is used. Statistic calculations were performed by program GEO5.
Design of the Foundation Pit for Apartment Building
Šobáň, Jakub ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis focuses on meeting of a construction pit forresidential building Kadetka in Brno. The purpose of this thesis is to design meeting construction and describe technological process of buiding the chosen construction type whichis in this work represented by once anchored meeting structure. This meeting structure was analysed in geotechnical program GEO5.
Foundation design of River Garden III in Prague
Malinský, Martin ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this master's thesis are the design of ensuring foundation pit and foundation of administrative building in Prague. In the vicinity of foundation pit is situated the river Vltava, which directly influences the ground water level at the job site. During construction, it is necessary to envisage the possibility of occurrence of the old building structures of docks.
Numerical analysis of stability of retaining structure in cohesive soils
Fejfarová, Aneta ; Račanský, Václav (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with numerical modeling of excavation using finite element method in the Plaxis 2D software. Triple-anchored retaining structure is founded in a less permeable cohesive soils. There are described loss of stability, types of the calculation and material model (Hardenig soil model used in the mathematical model) in the theoretical section of this bachelor thesis. Mathematical model of the excavation was described in the practical section of this thesis, specifically first limit state. Part of the thesis is an evaluation of the degree of stability over time, pore pressures and critical shear surfaces.
Securing of Foundation Pit for Construction of Power Station in Štětí
Holba, Radek ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is about securing of deep foundation pit. In first part there are explained types of securing, their advantages and disadvantages. In second part there is static appraisal of diaphragm wall in software program Plaxis 2D. In the end of this thesis there is technological process of building this diaphragm wall.
Design of deep excavation on the street Provaznikova
Koudelková, Ivana ; Svoboda,, Petr (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and static assessment carried shoring excavation pit for the construction of a multifunctional building in Brno Husovice. Introductory part summarizes the basic input information on the area of interest, including outputs of engineering-geological survey and gives an overview of the options pits. The main part describes the design and assessment of selected variant of shoring, the subsequent evaluation of the results and the technological progress of construction. The proposed design is complemented by structural calculations and construction plans.
