Diagnostics of plazma in the deposition sources using the Langmuir probes
Šedivý, Petr ; Kousal, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kylián, Ondřej (referee)
This experimental work is concerned with measurement of elementary characteristics of plasma - potential of plasma, electron temperature and density of particles. As research methods were selected the Langmuir probes - especially the single probe. At the beginning of the thesis there are explained shortly the elementary characteristics of plasma and the procedure of determination particular parameters of the plasma from the volt-ampere characteristics of the probe. The third chapter is focused on description of the experiment, the probe, the apparatus and its control. Plasma measured within this work originated from the new hollow magnetron which will serve as future source of nanoparticles. Results of the work are focused on the description of individual parameters of the plasma in dependence on other variables such as the magnetron power, pressure of gas, spatial dependence or presence of additional auxiliary magnetic field.

Properties of Filamentary Structures in Different Regimes of Plasma Confinement on the COMPASS Tokamak
Kovařík, Karel ; Ďuran, Ivan ; Stöckel, Jan ; Adámek, Jiří ; Spolaore, M. ; Vianello, N.
A complex electrostatic-magnetic probe diagnostic, called U-probe, has been installed on the tokamak COMPASS recently. Probe composes of two identical towers. Each tower houses radialy separated 3 sets of 3D coils, a triple probe and a rake of six single Langmuir probes. We present measurements of electric and magnetic properties of the filamentary structures in the scrape off layer plasmas during different regimes of plasma confinement on COMPASS tokamak
L-DEPP Definition Study for Lunar Lander - Lunar Plasma Monitor Proof-of-Concep: Final report
Laifr, Jaroslav ; Trávníček, Pavel M. ; Pavelka, Roman ; Herčík, David ; Štverák, Štěpán
A functional breadboard model of the LPM instrument, originally proposed for the L-DEPP experiment on board the Lunar Lander mission, has been designed, manufactured, and tested in order to verify the floating ground concept implemented for the Langmuir probe measuring technique. The functionality of the proposed design has been confirmed throughout an extensive set of testing procedures.
DSLP Operations on Board Proba 2 - Raw Data Processing and Archiving: FINAL REPORT
Štverák, Štěpán ; Trávníček, Pavel M. ; Herčík, David ; Pavelka, Roman
A complete DSLP data archive has been developed including full automated data processing chain from raw data up to higher level products. The archive, based on PDS and CDF standards, is available online including full documentation on the DSLP instrument and its operations on board Proba 2 satellite.
