The Process of Transformation of a Credit Union to a Bank in the Context of the Czech Banking System

The Diploma thesis deals with a comparative analysis of credit institutions operating on the Czech banking market. The first part of the thesis characterizes the banking system of the Czech Republic, the legal status of different institutional types and specifies range of their activities. The second part of the thesis focuses on the positions of the institutions against the supervisor and clients. The last part of the diploma thesis analyses the process of transformation of credit unions to banks, as well as reasons for this transformation and its possible consequences.

Professional liability insurance

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of professional liability insurance in Czech Republic with a deeper focus on attorneys at law and private doctors -- providers of non-state health care facilities. The thesis concentrates on the actual possibilities of negotiation of professional liability insurance on the czech insurance market, it compares the differences between individual offers of professional liability insurance and the collective contracts negotiated by the professional chambers. After a brief basic characteristics of the general liability insurance comes a chapter devoted to the general introduction of the matter of liability and damages legislation. Next chapters closely deal with the particular specifics of professional liability - first generally then with a focus on the insurance product designated to attorneys at law and eventually with focus on professional liability insurance optimalized for the needs of the private doctors.

Central bank independence

Aim of my thesis "Central bank independence" is closer detail of central bank independence as one of the factors influencing macroeconomic stability from the long term. Before particular analysis of central bank degree of independence and macroeconomic values relationship, it is necessary to clarify development of central banking. At the end, there is approximated current position of central bank. The thesis is divided into five interconnected and logically follow-up chapters.

Valuing cyclical companies

The goal of my work is to analyze the so-called cyclical companies. In my work I'm going to describe the fuctioning of sectors, which are historically branded as cyclical. In the main part of this work I'm going to evaluate selected companies from the automobile, the air transportation and the electronics sectors.

Creating of equity portfolio based on chosen indicators

The Diploma's thesis deals with the creating of equity portfolio based on chosen indicators. After the introduction I concentrate on typology of portfolios and the approach how to create portfolio. Next chapter focuses on analysis of regions and sectors. In the third chapter I concentrate on description of ratios which I use for selection of the specific stocks. In the last chapter I concentrate on creating two portfolios - i.e. American and European. Both of them are created based on the practical application of the approach for creating of portfolio that is described in the previous chapters.

Collateral Management and its interception and support in information systems, financial institution

The main objective of this thesis is to capture and support for Collateral Management in the environment of financial institution. The thesis deals with general and practical description Collateral Management, realizaction collateral management, trouble banking institucion implemented through the parent banking institution, and aplicaton design Collateral Management. The main benefits of this thesis I find the introduction of Collateral Management and submitting information on IT application covering the Collateral Management, and a reminders types of financial markets, banking institutions and their risks.

Dopad vladnych reforiem na stavebne sporenie

The bachelor thesis aims to evaluate and compare the main regulatory factors that have influenced the development of building society in the Czech Republic. It mainly concerns the changes in the amount of the state support for savings and tax revenues, which have significantly influenced the behavior of depositors. Conclusions found regarding the rate of profit were eventually compared to the alternative saving products offered in the CR as well as the building savings in Slovakia. I have come to the conclusion that budiling savings in the CR are still a convenient saving product. Even after the implementation of reforms, in comparison to other saving products, it brings to clients willing to save for a longer period of time, profitable appreciation of financial means.
