Tax Registers of the Town of Rakovnik, 1436-1449 [1450] The dissertation deals with financial administration of bohemian cities in the Middle Ages and its reflection in municipal financial books. The main focus is involvement of cities in the state tax administration. The municipal tax registers were also studied as sources for research of economic and social structure of medieval cities. Administration of the City of Rakovnik in the Late Middle Ages This work deals with the administration of the city of Rakovnik in the Late Middle Ages as it is reflected in the contemporary municipal books and records of the time. The focus of this work is on the development and operation of the municipal administration, with special attention being given to the existence and activities of city officials, as well as the purpose of individual aspects of the city's administrative life, and the control over such activities maintained by municipal authorities.

Localization of collagen type VIII in normal and pathological human cornea

The aim of this work was to localize collagen type VIII in different layers of the cornea and to compare it's localization in normal corneas with pathological corneas obtained from patients with Fuchs endothelial dystrophy, posterior polymorphous dystrophy or keratoconus.The only comercially available antibody did not proove sufficient specifiky for collagen type VIII. With use of the antibody 9H3 anti alCVIII was collagen VIII evidenced in the cornea. This antibody can be used for detection of differences in distribution of collagen VIII in normal and pathological human cornea.
