The master's thesis is focused on the design of a web application which aims at facilitating maintenance of the organization information security management system. The theoretical part of the thesis includes an explanation of the used methods and programming principles. The analytical part defines the current state and the environment of the organization. The design part describes the web application development and integration process, represents an operating manual and financially evaluates application development and maintenance.

The content of this thesis is a proposal of methodology for evaluating company's performance in areas of information security, while their performance will be judged based on compliance with standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Act no. 181/2014 Coll., Regulation 2016/679 of European Parliament and Directive 2016/1148 of the European Parliament. The proposal of this methodology is designed in a particular company which operates in the Czech Republic.

Vulnerability Analysis of Data Protection in Selected Company

The bachelor thesis deals with security assessment in the area of data protection of a part of the information system in a selected company. In my thesis, I examine the security status and security controls in place and try to detect actual or potential vulnerabilities. Based on an analysis performed by means of interviews, using assisted assessment methodology and automated vulnerability-finding method, I suggest security enhancements. The theoretical part of the thesis provides an introduction to the topic of data protection and defines the basic related terms.

The subject of this diploma thesis is a statistical analysis of security audits. The theoretical part describes key terms in the field of cyber and information security, basic background for this area and important regulations. The next part focuses on the description of security audit, its course, necessary conditions and content. The last part is devoted to statistical analysis of obtained samples. We analyse samples from several points of view, compare and look for features and information that could be helpful to the auditor’s assessment.

The Implementation of ISMS in a Small Company

The diploma thesis focuses on proposing an information security management system (ISMS) in a small company. This publication includes theoretical facts, which are needed to understand and design a ISMS. The design proposal of the ISMS itself is based on an analysis of the current status of the company's information security. The proposed security measures are based on the actual state of information security within the company, and on recommendations stemming from the ISO/IEC 27000 standard.

Creating a help desk SW tool for cyber security management

The diploma thesis is focused on the creation of a helpdesk design for ESKO software. This ESKO software was developed by ISIT Slovakia s.r.o. The helpdesk will be represented by several software. Some are used to create diagrams and represent workflows, others for graphic editing. The helpdesk will be created based on the current needs of the company and then delivered to it as the final product. The main goal is to extend the functionality of an existing website and add to this website and the proposed helpdesk. The bonus will be a query library, which should work on the principle of an SQL database.

The Master Thesis deals with the design of security measures in accordance with the information security management system and as well as the standards applicable to the critical infrastructure element since it is a healthcare institution. It consists of theoretical background, analysis of the current state of the network and certain areas of the hospital. The practical part is devoted to the risk analysis and the design of concrete measures that result in an increase in the information security level. This part also includes an economic evaluation of the design implementation.

Information security as one of the performance indicators in energy company

Master thesis is concerned with assessing the state of information security and its use as an indicator of corporate performance in energy company. Chapter analysis of the problem and current situation presents findings on the state of information security and implementation stage of ISMS. The practical part is focused on risk analysis and assessment the maturity level of processes, which are submitted as the basis for the proposed security measures and recommendations. There are also designed metrics to measure level of information security.
