This thesis deals with the study of river problems in the city with an emphasis on its function, importance and possibilities of integration into the city's organism. On selected examples of the approaching waterfront, the current trends in approaching solutions are followed. These acquired knowledge, researches of the solved territory and the elaborated analyzes then conclude the proposal in the form of an architectural study. In the framework of this study, the model area is divided into three seafront areas, which are elaborated in more detail. The project is supported by graphic documentation, consisting of floor plans, views and cuts.

Utváření moderních prostorů ve vztahu k historickému prostředí

This thesis in the literary section discusses the development of urban space throughout history to the present. Highlighted the important moments, especially the 19th century. At the same time deals with the effects of the urban environment on humans and the possibility of its use. Here are a few examples of urban spaces in which is described the way of their recovery and the current form. The analytical part of the analysis model developed and created the design of this space that connects the historical aspects and the modern conception of space.
