Description and Evaluation of Fastener Torque Characteristics of Screw Connection

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the description and evaluation of the torque characteristics of screw connection in plastic parts in headlight. The evaluation was compared with the same screws from three different suppliers. Compered was the course of torque when screwing. The work also includes analysis of the current state of knowledge in the use of plastics in the automotive industry and joining plastic parts. There is more emphasis on shaping joining screws.

This thesis is concerned with the cooling of electronic component. The work focuses on contemporary design of LED signal functions used in modern automotive headlamps and a on new design solution for the DRL function in the headlamp Skoda Octavia, including the use of alternative materials for cooler.
