Analysis of costs, revenues and profit/loss
VÁCHOVÁ, Karolína
The aim of the bachelor theses is an analysis of costs, revenues and profit/loss, transformation of earnings before taxes to taxes and how the earnings after taxes are divided. The analysis is made from provided annual reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and notes to the financial statements. The analysis is made for years 2015, 2016 and 2017. The analysis shows that the chosen company achieves higher costs and revenues each year. The most significant costs are wages and salaries and consumption of materials and energy. These costs are rising due to expansion of the production of the company. The most important revenue is sales of finished goods and services. The company is selling their goods in Czech Republic and in the world. In the monitored period the export sales are increasing, and domestic sales are decreasing. The company is more focused on promoting its product in the world than in the Czech Republic. In the long run, the company is not capable to satisfy demand for its goods, so every year new employees are recruited, and old machines are replaced with new one. The recruitment of new staff has a negative effect at earning before costs, which has a significant decline.
