Development of insulation materials based on secondary textile fibers of lower quality
Mlynářová, Jana ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on a suitable midification of acoustic and thermal insulation materials from recycled textile fibres of lower quality due to improvement of their reaction to fire. The aim is to find an effective flame retardant and to verify suitable method of flame retardant application onto this type of insulation material.
Study of modification possibilities of organics fibers for improvement of their properties
Tošerová, Ivana ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of modification of fibrous insulation materials based on natural fibers, especially in terms of their reaction to fire tests. The aim of the work is to define the parameters influencing the reaction to fire test and to design the optimal treatment of insulations in order to achieve the best possible reaction to fire tests without the use of secondary chemical treatment.
Possibilities of improvement of fire properties of insulation materials based on organic fibers
Urbánek, Tomáš ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focuses on the modification of organic fiber insulating materials in terms of their reaction to fire after installation into the construction. The target is to find a way to improve the reaction to fire and to at least reach the reaction to fire D.
Development of thermal a acoustic insulations based on secondary raw sources from textil industry
Kosturová, Andrea ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of the presented diploma thesis is to evaluate the influence of modification on surface layer of products with their base structure from organical fibers and on the ability to resist increased humidity. Emphasis is puted on the description of humidity propagation in fiber materials ant he approximation of secondary waste from the textile industry as a potencional material for thermal insulation. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the types of possible surface treatment to prevent the ingress water into the structure of the material. The practical part verifies the selected type of modification of the surface layer of three materials choosen as test ensemble. After applying surface treatment, the effect of treatment on humidity sensitivity and water absorption was assessed. The determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient, the short-term absorption at partial immersion and the determination of the sorption humidity were made.
Development of insulation materials from secondary texile fibers
Mlynářová, Jana ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on opportunities for innovation of thermal insulation materials for use in construction. Textile waste, either from waste collection or textile industry is difficult to recycle and a substantial amount of said waste ends up at waste dumps or waste incinerators. The thesis is focused on available sources of raw material for textile fibers and suitable technologies for processing of recycled textile into the form of thermal insulation panels. The practical section of the thesis is focused on possible alterations of key properties of thermal insulation mats made of recycled textile fibers so that said insulation mats can be incorporated into building constructions.
