Dependence of somatotype and fitness condition in martial arts

Title: Dependence of somatotype and fitness condition in martial arts. Thesis aim: Main aim of this thesis is to find out mutual dependence among tracked variables - placed in ranking list and UNIFITTEST (6-60). Methods: For theoretical part of thesis the author used method of analysis and synthesis of specialized literary sources. In practical part the main method used was regression analysis. Method according to Heath-Carter was used to assessment somatotype. Towards evaluation of kinetic performance and efficiency was used UNIFITTEST (6-60). Results: Results from research show us that during the research of mutual dependencies it hasn't proved any link between tracked variables and place in ranking list UNIFITTEST (6-60). Considering measured values judo athletes are in category endomorphic mesomorphic and karate athletes are in category well-balanced mesomorphic. Bachelor thesis title: Somatotype comparision of muaythai and judo athletes Objective: The main objective of this work is to compare the athletes' somatotype who engage in Thai boxing and judo. Methods: The author used for developing of the theoretical part of this thesis a method of analysis and synthesis of professional literature sources. In the practical part was used primarily the method of comparison. To determine the somatotype was used method by Heath and Carter. Results: The results of the research show that because of the measured values the athletes can be categorized as endomofphic mezomorf. Keywords: somatotype, martial arts, Thai boxing, judo
