Lexicon of drug-addicted in Czech and Russian backgrounds (comparative analysis)

This thesis focuses on the vocabulary of Russian speaking drug-addicted persons and compares it with the same type of vocabulary used in Czech. The author will introduce the readers to the problems associated with psychoactive drugs and the vocabulary of drug- addicted persons. As for the lexeme (substantives), the author will collect them and classify them according to the thematic area. In the next part of this research, the author will analyze the vocabulary and will comment the origin of creation for some words. At the end of the thesis the reader will have a better understanding of the similarities and differences of Czech and Russian slang-words associated with drugs.
