Evaluation of erosion and runoff conditions in context with the agroforestry systems design

The diploma thesis generally deals with the emergence of water and wind erosion, its conseque-nces and the possibilities of how to prevent or limit erosion, with various anti-erosion measures. More specifically, it focuses on agroforestry systems (ALS), their origin, importance and appro-priate use in the landscape. To investigate the effects of ALS, an agricultural area near the village of Modřec was selected, on which ALS variants in various variations were designed using compu-ter programs. The main quantity investigated and compared was the average long-term soil loss by water erosion under different variants of the ALS design.

Stochastic mortality modeling for multiple populations

Title: Stochastic mortality modelling for multiple populations Abstract: This thesis deals with the possibilities of modelling and forecasting of age-specific mortality rates. The introductory part summarizes the basic terms from demo- graphy, which are related to mortality, and specifies elementary approaches to the mortality modelling. Subsequently there are in detail described the three most commonly used stochastic mortality models - Lee-Carter, Renshaw-Haberman and Cairns-Blake-Dowd. The fundamental part of this thesis deals with the possi- bilities of using these models for mortality modelling simultaneously in correlated populations. These theoretical bases are in the final part of this thesis numerically illustrated on the mortality models for populations of Czech and Slovak Republic. 1

Financing post-retirement income

This thesis deals with various possibilities of the financing post-retirement income. In the first part, the basic knowledge from the area of demography is given, what is necessary for the determination of mortality assumptions and for the computation of cash flows in post-retirement age. Subsequently models of decumulation periods are theoretically compared - the basic variants are purchasing of life annuity and annuity-certain, from which are derived selected combinations and modifications. In the last part, theoretical bases are used to determining specific mortality assumptions with respect to the computed values of parameters of the Gompertz-Makeham mortality law. Subsequently cash flows of particular models are numerically illustrated with respect to the mortality assumptions.

Historic analysis of landscape pattern in context of water erosion risks

Abstract Disertation Historic development of landscape structure in the context of the potencional treatened earth water erosion, discribes the process of changes with usage landscape, which took place in cadastral area Vráž u Berouna, Tuchoměřice and Lanžov in královohradecký region. Total expanse all of these areas is 2 315,8 ha.
Selecting areas was held on the planned complex landscaping, becouse of practical use of the change of landscape, which had an impact on water erosion. Pictures, which were chosen for this job are from 1952, 1975 and 2003. The reason for choosing these pictures are equal distance and that the most important influence on remoulding the landscape which have taken place since the 50s of the 20th century due to agriculture collectivization.
Content of literary reserch is to approach the basic concepts, which have connections with the landscape and the assessment its structure including USLE, which deals with the calculation of erosion. For calculation of processes and changes in the landscape exist many tools and methods. In this work ,is analysis and calculation of erosion done with help of geographic informatiom system (GIS). Very important part of this wokr is to interpret the results in the form of map output, tables and graphs.

Study of relationship between plan of collective equipment of complex landscape consolidation and spatial plan of Srby c. c., Tuchlovice c. c. and in Lidice c. c.

The theme of my work are finished land consolidation in the cadastral Lidice, Tuchlovice and Srby u Tuchlovic and their plan of joint facilities and related land use plan in the village of Lidice and Tuchlovice. The work is divided into two parts, namely recherche and studies.
The second part describes comprehensive land consolidation especially plan of common measures. The study describes the specific plans, including the implementation of elements plans, which they have already been held and the local plan.
The goal of my work is to clarify the issue of continuity landscaping and zoning plan and conduct sociological research in which I address landscaping processors, processors zoning, land office and the office of the municipality in the cadastral area.
