Sharip, Sofija Armankyzy ; Ťupek, Pavel (advisor) ; Novák, Ľubomír (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the legacy of Ahmed Jasaví as a tool for reshaping the national identity of the territory of today's Kazakhstan. The aim of the work is to show why Yasawi is represented as an ideal personality in this respect and how his Sufi legacy is interpreted. Furthermore, the author will try to analyze how the political regime on the one hand and the popularizer of Islam and Sufism Ismatulla Abdughappar Maqsúm on the other used the personality and legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi to promote their own agenda. The time frame of the work will cover the collapse of the Soviet Union, when the personality of Yasawi was officially rehabilitated until 2011, in which political events took place, in which the leader of the jahrija Ismatullah also took part.
