	Effect of sericin proteins and their derivates on the insect and mammalian cells SUCHANOVÁ, Eva Effect of commercial sericin extract on cell proliferation was examined in the following cell cultures: HeLa, L929, Vero, HaCaT, WS1, human dermal fibroblasts and primary keratinocytes. Sericin was present in the culture media in concentrations 0.001; 0.005; 0.01; 0.05 and 0.1 per cent, respectively. The rate of cell proliferation was assessed by means of a ?cratch test?. A pragmalinguistic analysis SUCHANOVÁ, Eva This thesis deals with a pragmalinguistic analysis of Themen aktuell, a German textbook used in language courses for adults and teenagers. The first theoretical part describes gender stereotypes. The second practical part provides a detailed analysis of diverse situations in life as they appear from male and female viewpoints. The paper aims to examine the textbook so as to prove or disprove a hypothesis predicting that the book's conception creates a stereotypical image of men and women.
