Design of concrete structure of industrial hall
Richtr, Jan ; Šiška, Radek (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the design of a single-nave reinforced concrete prefabricated hall with a crane runway. The focus of the design and assessment is on the elements of the main transverse frame. The saddle girder, along with the columns, is assessed for the ultimate limit state (ULS) and the serviceability limit state (SLS). Another part of the design addresses the proposal of the reinforced concrete cladding made of panels. The panels are designed for the ULS under exceptional loading conditions. The master's thesis also explores the possibility of additional column prestressing with post-tensioning reinforcement and the potential installation of a crane with higher load capacity in the hall.

Time and sound in cinema
Richtr, Jan ; KUDLÁČ, Jakub (advisor) ; REJHOLEC, Pavel (referee)
The theme of this diploma thesis is perception of time within the
audiovisual work. Particular attention is paid to the audio component of the
audiovisual work, from which perspective is seen the phenomenon of time. First
there is briefly introduced understanding of time evolved within the philosophical
context. The next part presents film as a medium that, from its formal nature,
brings new impetus that further develops the thinking of time. After this
introduction work focuses on the way of perceiving time within the sound itself,
respectively in music composition. It is based on the findings of psychoacoustics
and, above all, on the theoretical considerations of French composer Gérard
Grisey, to which is trying to find parallels in the context of the sound dramaturgy
of the film work. The last part deals with time relations arising from the
relationship between film image and sound. It is trying to question and then
generalize specific formal relationships within the audiovisual work, influencing
the subjective perception of time.

Usage of sound distortion in film sound dramaturgy
Richtr, Jan ; MELCHER, Jiří (advisor) ; ČENĚK, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the phenomenon of sound distortion and its use in the film sound dramaturgy. With introductory historical excursus examines the genesis of its creation and transformation of perception of distortion in the context of world cinema. The next section shows on specific examples, the role of distortion in film aesthetics. It demonstrates its usage given either by technical capabilities or aesthetic intentions of the individual authors. The goal of this thesis is to outline the phenomenon of sound distortion, linked to recording and reproduction chain. It shows how initially unintended later intentional presence of this sound component affects film aesthetics and dramaturgy.
