Intention of this Thesis is elaboration of didactic tool (photographic vocabulary) for aphasic patients. The aim is to create, together with patieiťs family, a tool that will be tailored directly for a patient with a possibility of continuous extension. Theoretical part consists of generál information about semantics and lexicology that are linked with a patienťs vocabulary. In details we mention symptoms, examination and a therapy of aphasia. In therapy we focus on clinically often occured disorders of nominative function of speech. Therapy of aphasia is a key point of practical part of the thesis. Practical part compares already existing didactic tools (mainly vocabularies) to be connected for comparative parametres for revising a new Vocabulary for adults with aphasia. We also describe how we actually dealing with this vocabulary, its description and ways of use. We see the benefit of this work in practical usage of fotographic vocabulary for aphasic patiens.
