Final exam software projects
Beránek, Martin ; Prokýšek, Miloš (advisor) ; Štípek, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with evaluation of quality of high school software projects. Examining the sources, the text describes differences between the projects on a model school and between real world needs. Based on this, it suggests an intervention, in the form of passing materials to members of an action group composed of teachers leading the software projects. The materials supply topics that were not found in the model school's education plan. A methodology for evaluating the projects is suggested, drawing from qualitative indicators used in the real world. An impact of this intervention on the students' projects is evaluated afterwards. The impacts at the model school were not significant. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Educational specifics of the spatial visualization
Prokýšek, Miloš
TITLE: Educational specifics of the spatial visualization AUTHOR: Mgr. Miloš Prokýšek DEPARTMENT: Department of information technology and technology education SUPERVISOR: doc. PhDr. Vladimír Rambousek, CSc. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with phenomena of spatial visualization, application of spatial visualization in instruction and its educational specifics. The present thesis addresses the questions of definition of spatial visualization in instruction, specification of educational specifics and exploration of the relations between spatial visualization and cognitive processes. The experimental part of the thesis is focused on relations between the form of presentation of subject matter (planar visualization and spatial visualization), spatial intelligence, or the ability of mental rotation and the results of learning at students of lower secondary (ISCED 2) school. Elaboration of the theory given field of educational means, the thesis seeks to contribute to the development of theoretical bases of pedagogy with the context of increasing importance of technology for support education. KEYWORDS: education, educational tools, spatial visualization, spatial intelligence, mental rotation ability, educational specifics
Visual tools for 3D support teaching
Mutl, Josef ; Lustig, Stanislav (advisor) ; Prokýšek, Miloš (referee)
The purpose of this baccalaureate thesis is to map existing visualization tools and to evaluate their utility for 3D support teaching. The essential part of this thesis consists of the implementation of the model solution 3D visualization of a historic building - the castle of Polná. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the information sources of the objects involved and creation of 3D models. Concrete opportunities for practical realization of 3D visualization of the historical object are presented and some areas of its implementation into the life of society are also suggested in this thesis; the empasis is on the educational field. The objective of the practical part is to introduce implementation of the model solutions 3D visualization of the historical object and to present the process of the investigation of the model into teaching. Results of the verification of the application are also involved in the thesis as well as the conclusions and recommendations for school practice.
Support for teaching graphics in matte -painting
Vachuda, Tomáš ; Lustig, Stanislav (advisor) ; Prokýšek, Miloš (referee)
TITLE: Support for teaching graphics in matte-painting AUTHOR: Tomáš Vachuda DEPARTMENT: Department of Information Technology and Education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Stanislav Lustig ABSTRACT: This thesis serves not only as a handbook for those who are interested in Matte painting, but also as a universal instruction manual on realistic photomanipulations. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part it describes the content and the very essence of this subject. It tells the history of matte painting and describes traditional tools, which were used for this technique in past and digital tools, which are being used nowadays. It explains basic rules, which - when followed - provides photorealistic results. Practical part is based on the theoretical part and demonstrates specific and detailed method, which results in professional photomanipulation. The main goal of the thesis is to give the public the insight into this technique. To ordinary people, this term is often unknown, even although we come across the visual form of this technique in most of the movies or in commercials. Practical part of this thesis is in form of tutorial and serves as a educational material, which will teach the reader not only the technique of Matte painting, but also the advanced manipulation with the...

Title: Collection of tasks to support the teaching 3D graphics education. Abstract: This Bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of methodical and work sheets supporting 3D computer graphics teaching. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part defining theoretical framework necessary for the correct creation of creative tasks and a practical part, which deals with the creation of methodical and work sheets that should serve as one of the resources for teachers and students in the area of acquiring and consolidating new knowledge. All methodical and work sheets are created with Cinema 4D. Key words: Learning task, Creative task, Cinema 4D.
