Perception of small Moravian towns by their inhabitants

The paper that is based on the data obtained from the author´s own research focused on the issue of perception and image of the small towns, presents certain established results from questionnaire surveys aimed at analysis of perception of small Moravian towns from the particular point of view of their inhabitants, specifically perception of the town image, evaluation of different environmental and social dimensions of the living space and their changes, analysis of perception of the quality of life, anxiety and future prospects, and classification of the present most significant problems in life of inhabitants of the small towns.
Some aspect of small moravian towns in rural regions

Unter die Fragen der territorialen Entwicklung von europäischer Bedeutung schließt man die Änderungen und neue Funktionen der ruralen Landschaft, die ein Teil der räumlichen Residenzstruktur. Der Zweck ist die Aufbewahrung der urbalen - und ruralen Diversifikation (von Europäischen Gemeinschaft bezeichnet als 'Prozess der Landschaftspflege'), der strebt sich nach Verstärkung der Bedeutung der Kleinstädten als Zentren der ruralen Landschaft und Herden der regionalen Entwicklung von diesen Regionen. Stadt und Land braucht man als gleichwertigen Partners verstehen, die trotz unterschiedlichen administrativen Bedingungen zusammen die Verantwortlichkeit für weitere Entwicklung (Stagnation, Verfall) von ganzen Regionen tragen. Die heranbrechende Aufgabe der Kleinstädte besteht nicht nur in breiteren Arbeitsmärkten aber vor allem in Aufklärung von neuen Zutritten gehenden von Image, Identität und Genius Loci der Landschaft aus.
Dwelling environment in the areas influenced by inhibition of underground mining

The mosaic pattern is typical for the dwelling areas. 10 functional categories were separated during the field research in Ostrava region, which was seriously influenced by inhibition of underground mining. These categories were demarcated base on the similarity or the differences town-planning, building and others features, among others number of the floors, the building materials, spatial arrangement, way of using etc. and so with the goal to achieve their readability in the map. The smallest transcribed area in the map of the scale 1:50 000 was the area with extension 50x50 m in the reality. This article contents only a narrative attachment to the map. The original of the map is available in the library of Institute of Geonics Czech Academy of Sciences in Brno.
