Influence of the Iraq War on the international relations

Bachelor thesis analyzes the influence of the War in Iraq on the international relations. It is focused on the international relations before war, causes of the war and approaches of the individual states which influenced international relations after war. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze how the intrnational relations were affected by the conflict and whether the situation in the Middle East became more stable or not. The partial aim is to capture the main circumstances that led to the War in Iraq. Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter relates to the time period between the end of the Cold War and the beginning of the 2. War in Iraq. It is focused on the main events that led to the Operation Iraqi freedom. The second chapter provides information about the conflict itself, its legitimacy and the real purpose of the operation. In the last chapter I deal with the reactions of the international community to the conflict, the success of the US strategy and the post-conflict international relations.
