Traction DC/AC inverter 2,5kW for an induction machine of an electric garden tractor
Krist, Petr ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the proposal of power 3-phase DC/AC inverter for an induction machine of small garden tractor. It concerns the choice of a voltage level of DC link, dimensioning of the power circuit, drivers for power transistors, implementation of metering and protection and also processor driving. The whole thing ends at proposal of PCB in the software program called EAGLE and PCB manufacturing. So we also check if the theoretical calculations are correct and if the whole drive works.
Editing interchanges Ostravska x Bedrichovicka, Brno
Acuna Subia, Luis Carlos ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the proposal of level of Rhombo flyover junction in Brno- Slatina . At the junction with the road crosses the I/50 Ostravská and roads II class Bedřichovická. Its main problem is the high intensity of vehicles cross point interchanges . The aim is to draft amendment to the intersection with the primary aim of removing cross points at the intersection and interchange improvements movements with emphasis on the safety of vehicles and pedestrians . The work deals draft sidewalks, places for crossing a barrier adaptations for pedestrians . The resulting finish has ultimately simplify movement of both pedestrians and motor vehicles and improve their safety. Part of the work was done manual measurement of traffic volumes , which were subsequently evaluated and according to him, were proposed modifications designed intersection.
Levitation electromagnet
Kadlec, Michal ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelors work deals with magnetic levitation and design of the electromagnet. The design of the electromagnet is a demand for a minimum amount of constructionand is performed in two ways. It also made a proposal of a mathematical model of the magnet control circuit and control simulation. The knowledge gained can be used tothe design of the electromagnet in engineering practice.
AC and DC current sensors
Zimek, Alois ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to focus on analysis of a current transformer with feedback correction of measuring error, make an AC current sensor and verify its qualities experimentally. The measuring scale of this transformer is I = 0 to 100A, f = 50Hz.
Low-frequency Power Amplifiers
Matějka, Vojtěch ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to design a low-frequency amplifier with some specific parameters. The thesis includes several different connections of known and used amplifiers which are somehow unique or revolutionary. Also it contains the description of classes, the distortion and the structure of amplifiers. The low-frequency amplifier was designed with emphasis on resulting parameters. A design of a printed circuit and the prototype of the board were made. Then the resultant amplifier was modified and adjusted and finally its parameters were measured.
Traction Drive with Fuel Cell
Procházka, Petr ; Chlebiš,, Petr (referee) ; Mindl,, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The main goal of the work is development of the electric car with fuel cells. The whole complex drive will be optimized with respect of minimal consumption of the energy due to achievement of the maximal range of the car. The first part of the work deals with definition of the parameters of the whole drive in dependence of various operating state of the car. The second part describes some acceptable realizations of the traction drive. The most suitable solution was chosen for realization of the small electric car. The third part deals with principle of the minimization of the losses of the asynchronous machine in the wide range of torque and speed. The last part describes final conception and especially technical realization of the car and its parts.
High power switch-mode supplies - parallel connection
Kadlec, Josef ; Richter, Aleš (referee) ; Mindl,, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with the issue of high power switched-mode power supplies that are designed as modular systems. The thesis describes series, parallel and series-parallel possibility of connected converters. System can achieve extremely high output current for converters connected in parallel. For converters connected in series, the system can achieve extremely high output voltage. The main goal of this thesis is to develop so-called reconfigurable modular system. It is a system that can change converters connection of serial, parallel or series-parallel connection - during its operation. This option to change converters connection significantly extends the control range of output voltage and output current of the whole system. For all these mentioned variants of the modular system there are described and simulated suitable control schemes. The issue of interleaved PWM is described in the thesis. Output voltage ripple and current ripple equations were derived for each converters connection. These equations, which were derived either for systems with interleaved PWM or for systems without of phase shifted PWM, are also proved by simulations. Design of reconfigurable modular system with power of 9.6 kW that contains four converters was introduced in this thesis. Converters use modern transistors and diodes of SiC material. The proposed reconfigurable modular system was successfully manufactured. The measurement results are also shown in the work.
Laboratory supply source 2x40V/10A with a switching supply source and active input rectifier
Šír, Michal ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This project deals with a design and realization of power and control circuits for a laboratory power supply source. Functional prototypes of input rectifier with active power factor correction, DC/DC converter and control circuits are the project results.
LED bicycle lights
Čmelík, Matouš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
In semester thesis i project bicycle lighting using LEDs that are powered from the alternator. The LEDs are powered also from battery, that is recharged while driving and when you stop it enable uninterrupted lighting. The concept is designed so that the final price is as low as possible. All things is designed to insert to the existing bicycle lightint on Eska or Favorit bicycle. The use of inverters ensures high efficienty of the whole concept. Using LEDs compare to standart solutions with bulbs is more efficienty to.
