The Block of Flats

This bachelor's thesis solves new apartment buildings with nearly zero-energy consumption for housing in the suburb of the capital city of Prague. It is a detached, partially basement apartment building of a rectangular shape with one underground and two above-ground floors with a residential attic in the form of a maisonette, placed in sloping terrain. In the basement there is a technical background and cellar for all housing units, in the upper floors, there are four housing units. The construction system of the building is wall-like, two-way, made of ceramic blocks. Horizontal structures are folded from ceramic blocks. The roof structure is designed as a wooden gable roof with ceramic roof tile. The building has parking spaces and gardens for residents of the house. The work contains project documentation for the construction.
The Boarding House

ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the new construction of a boarding house with almost zero energy consumption for recreation. It is a free-standing rectangular guesthouse with an inner block with two above-ground floors. The guesthouse consists of twenty apartments with their own entrance. Two large apartments that can be used as flats. The building also has a beer hall and a wellness center with the facilities of a hotel with accommodation for seasonal workers. The structural system of the building is a wall, two-way, made of ceramic blocks. The horizontal structures are prefabricated from prestressed panels. The roof structure is designed as a wooden gable with a ceramic covering. The building includes parking spaces and an inner block with a rest area and a playground for children. In addition, there are two more constructions of a four-wheel rental and a guesthouse warehouse, and a second building of stables and hay storage. The work contains project documentation for the construction of the guesthouse building.

Naturalized Methodology in Anthropological Research

Title: Naturalized Methodology in Anthropological Research Author: Karolína Drcmánková Department: Ethnology Supervisor: doc. František Vrhel. CSc. Abstract: This paper focuses on critique of the interpretative methodology of social sciences from the position of modern philosophy of science. Our goal is to process the theoretical approaches which are discussed in the scope of philosophy of science in an interdisciplinary way. This particularly includes the arguments against epistemic relativism and postmodern theoretical approaches in anthropology. Our work is based mostly on Quin's conception of naturalised epistemology which points out the importance of applying methods commonly used in natural science. Beside this our paper is also based on Darwin's social theory and Alex Rosenberg's concept of methodological holism. Our aim is to naturalize methodology of anthropological research which will be aligned with methodology of natural science and Quin's naturalism. The conception of naturalized anthropology is based on causal explanation of human behaviour, research of standards and regularities in humans and generalization. Strategy of a chosen Chinese company when entering the Czech market and building up a position on this market

This bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is focused on mutual business and investment relations between the Czech Republic and China, further it presents the Chinese province Sichuan in more details and its relations with the Czech Republic. At the end of the first part it is mentioned an establishment of a company called Changhong Europe Electric s.r.o. The company itself is described in the second part of the thesis. This part deals with a parent company in Sichuan, company activities and offered products. An interesting section is the passage about cultural differences of Chinese employees. The third part is focused on marketing strategy of the company on the Czech market. It describes all parts of a marketing mix and a whole SWOT analysis of the company. The last part of this thesis deals with a company expansion to other European countries.
