Lean Production Design in Selected Operation Focusing on Quality

This bachelor thesis is focused on the study of lean production in one of the operations of ŠKODA AUTO a.s., which deals with the production of automobiles. The first part is targeted to theoretical basis, which helps to understand the issue, then there is an analysis and at the end there is a suggestion for improvement of a part of the production process, which can lead to improving quality.

This thesis is focused on lean management of the production system in the company ASSA ABLOY Czech & Slovakia s. r. o. The main outcome is the proposal of a new layout and process balancing with the use of lean manufacturing methods. The first part describes the theoretical basics which are used for analysis afterwards. The results of these analyses are then used as a main basis for the proposal of changes in the chosen part of the production process.
