This bachelor thesis deals with elements of urban interconnection. It is divided into three basic parts. The first part is theoretical, which defines basic terms such as public space, typology of public space, elements of urban interconnection or pedestrian zone in the city. The analytical section contains individual analyzes that serve to understand the area. They result in individual positives or negatives of the space. They become the basis for design study. In the last part of the thesis, the thesis deals with the design of the area, whose main idea is to use the waterfront potential and return the life to the public spaces. Subsequently, a design study and graphical attachments are prepared.
