Barriers of multidisciplinary cooperation in residential facilities for the seniors. Retirement homes in Central Bohemian Region

This thesis deals with multidisciplinary cooperation in residential facilities for the elderly (so- called MTD). I'm going to focus on retirement houses. The theoretical part deals with old age, fundamental documents defining social rights and basic values in the care of the elderly. It also deals with cooperation team composition in retirement houses for the elderly, development phases, principles and barriers to the functioning of a multidisciplinary team. In the empirical part I deal with the description of the data collecting and analysing the results of questionnaire survey and interviews. The aim of my thesis is to find out with what barriers of multidisciplinary cooperation retirement houses deals with. In the practical part, I looked for obstacles affecting their functioning and also what would contribute to the creation of a team in a retirement house. Tests for Combination of Correlation Coefficients

This bachelor thesis is focused on tests for correlation coefficients. Fundamental knowledge about correlation coefficient are reminded as well as tests for correlation coefficient based on estimated correlation coefficient. Then three main methods for combining more correlation coefficients - Fisher`s method, Linear combination test with Z-transformation and Hotelling transformation - are described, simulated and compared. These tests have several assumptions such as that k correlation coefficients are known as well as the range of random samples from which they were calculated plus it is assumed that these correlation coefficients are equal.

The explanatory power of the indicators of financial health

The thesis is focused on the selected systems of indicators of bankruptcy models and credibility models, that are applied on the specific enterprise. On the basis of collected data from balance sheet and statement of profit and loss there is calculated the financial health during five year period and than the explanatory power of these systems of indicators is made, whether the used systems of indicaters have the same explanatory power of different.

Material consumption in a manufacturing concern

Bakalářská práce posuzuje význam a způsoby řízení zásob ve výrobním podniku, popisuje metody a ukazatele používané k optimalizaci budoucí spotřeby materiálu, zhodnocuje postupy vhodné k rozboru průměrné doby obratu zásob. Vybrané metody jsou aplikovány v konkrétních podmínkách výrobního podniku z Jihočeského kraje.
