Classification of sleep phases using polysomnographic data
Králík, Martin ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is the classification of polysomnographic data. The first part of the thesis is a review of mentioned topic and also the statistical analysis of classification features calculated from real EEG, EOG and EMG for evaluating of the features suitability for sleep stages scoring. The second part is focused on the automatic classification of the data using artificial neural networks. All the results are presented and discussed.
The Design of Highway Bridge Foundations
Králík, Michal ; Doněk, Michal (referee) ; Boštík, Jiří (advisor)
Topic of this master`s thesis is founding of the hightway bridge, which is located between Lipník and Bělotín. Thesis is aimed for creating shallow foundation and foundation on piles and choosing which option is better. All evaluations have been made without specialized software and than compared with GEO5 results. Better solution will be completed with procedure for construction and drawing documentation.
Control and regulation of the temperature of the drug transport box
Maťašová, Daniela ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the solution of drug transport in a transport box over longer distances. The work also deals with sensors for temperature measurement and methods of its control and regulation. The essence is the design, implementation and verification of the functionality of the transport device, which allows the display of continuous information about the state of the temperature inside the transport box. Temperature control is powered from the car’s on-board network and temperature sensing is powered independently. The transport device allows the setting of the limit temperature up to 35 °C, while exceeding it is indicated by an acoustic and visual alarm. The transport box, which is the result of the work, allows the transport of drugs, and ultimately meets all the requirements of the assignment.
Methods for respiration estimates from ECG signal
Mitrengová, Jana ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the realization of methods for estimation of the respiratory curve from the ECG signal. The first part of the thesis deals with the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory and cardiovascular system. In this part of the thesis are also described ways of the breathing monitoring. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of individual methods for the ECG derived respiration. The third part deals with the realization of selected methods, application of method algorithms on real data and comparison of resulting respiratory curves with the respiratory signals available from the PhysioNet database. In conclusion, the individual methods are compared with each other.
Measuring and Data Logging of Air Parameters
Kaziměrčíková, Lada ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the Bachelor thesis is to design a device for measuring humidity, temperature and CO2 concentration with implemented data logging. The Raspberry Pi computer was chosen as the control unit for the design of the device with three sensors, DHT11 for measuring temperature and humidity, NDIR MH-Z16 for measuring the CO2 concentration and NOVA PM SDS011 for detection PM10 and PM2,5 particles. The measured data from the sensors are stored in the MySQL database and are displayed on the web using PHP scripts and active Javascript elements. The Bachelor thesis also focuses on the analysis of air quality and the substances contained in the air with presented research for sensors used for measuring the concentration of these substances.
Cortical-subcortical interactions in EEG data of patients with pharmacoresistant epilepsy
Šíma, Jan ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Lamoš, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the elaboration of a literature search on epilepsy and electroencephalography signals with a focus on patients with drug-resistant epilepsy and the analysis of cortico-subcortical relationships. The theoretical part describes the chapters of epilepsy, electroencephalography, the possibility of pre-processing EEG data and analytical methods, which describe the cortico-subcortical interactions. The practical part contains pre-processing of EEG data, analysis of methods used, data analysis, results, discussion, and conclusion. The data analysis itself is performed by the Phase-amplitude coupling method. The discussion discusses the results, limitations, and other possible connections. The conclusion summarizes the whole bachelor thesis.
Use of the Energy Harvesting Method
Dobrovolná, Terezie ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of Energy Harvesting. It contains suggestions for obtaining electric power from alternative sources located inside the laminar box such as light, heat or vibration. Electricity is also used to power sensors and measure solid particles in the air. If a certain particle concentration is exceeded, the acoustic sensor alerts. The work also focuses on the compilation of a block diagram of the device, experimental construction and verification of the functionality of the entire system.
Analysis of the meteorological dates
Králík, Martin ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to recognize the basics of atmospherical physics, the techniques and measuring instruments used in weather stations and the statistical analysis of three chosen meteorological parameters. Data analysis is made by using graphical display method, which is discussed later on.
The Red Queen
Králík, Martin ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Red Queen is a chess piece on the story of Alice in Wonderland, which is constantly running to hold it in place, because the world around it is constantly in motion. Therefore, it is a symbol of the theory of evolution, a constant necessity innovation and the eternal escape from competitors. Red Queen's Race is constructed into a miniature civilization, or rather one growing superorganism, which constantly oscillates between the digital and the physical world. The main consciousness of this association is black majestically looking server that supplies with his computing power and energy all attached printers. They are designed specifically for this purpose, such as abstraction of robotics industry, with an emphasis on a functionally aesthetic form, in yellow-orange color of heavy industrial machinery. The most important and largest part of this system, are entities which printers materialize. They are created according to a living creature of this world, generated by computer, based on a unique code, which is the result of calculating the evolutionary recombination, processed by the server, depending on the reactions of outside observers at the objects which are already created. Sense of each entity is attract attention. How much more, the greater is the chance to continue their code in future generations.
Obstructive sleep apnea detection using polysomnography
Smrčková, Markéta ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis attempts to find an alternative method for automatic detection of sleep apnea using polysomnographic data. The first part is focused on introduction to lungs anatomy and physiology of breathing, sleeping and cardiac system. The second part describes the process of sleep examination and particular components of polysomnographic data. The third part is focused on realization of specific method for sleep apnoea detection, application on real data and results evalutation.
