The aim of this thesis is to analyze how the british coalition government support the development of the business environment in the United Kingdom. The first chapter introduces the business environment in the United Kingdom. The second chapter describes the support of the business environment, particularly the changes in tax system and the support of entrepreneurial culture. In the third chapter is a breif characteristics of the support for businesses.

In my work i describe the cultural differences between the Culture of Switzerland and Czech republic. My goal is to prove, that culture is able to influence business. In the other part of my work I describe the special features of the Swiss culture and their mentality.
Analýza aktivit agentury Czech Trade na vybraných strategicky významných trzích

The goal of the paper is to analzye activities of CzechTrade agency at strategic markets (i.e. China and Russia). The opening chapter provides general information about purpose and functions of the Agency, which are followed by detailed description of the above mentioned countries, especially in accordance with their position in today`s globalised world. Next part focuses on detailed characteristic of recent foreign trade relations of the countries with special aim at recent foreign trade relations with Czech republic. Short subchapter is also dedicated to changes which arose by joining European Union. At the end of the thesis are highlighted several successful projects which were realized with assistance of the Agency.

The thesis is aimed at foreign trade of the Czech republic. Its goal is to analyse Czech foreign trade from several points of view. The question of importance of foreign trade for the Czech economy and importance of services is posed and territorial and commodity structure of the foreign trade is presented. The following parts deal with relations between the foreign trade and exchange rate and consequences of adopting common commercial policy of the EU. The end is focused on the common European currency and the problem of participation of the Czech republic in the Euro-zone including evaluation, how the Czech republic fulfils the Maastricht criteria
Vybrané problémy vplyvu globalizácie na český automobilový priemysel

Bachelor thesis focuses on the effects of globalization on different areas of the Czech automotive industry. The thesis characterizes the phenomenon of globalization in general and specifically from the perspective of the world's automobile production. It also records the history and development of automotive production in the Czech Republic. The thesis captures the Czech automotive industry in details, where the impact of globalization caused significant changes in the last two decades. From an economic point of view it concentrates on the impact of these changes on the overall role of the automotive industry in the economy of the CR. At the end of the bachelor thesis there is view of the current situation in the various car factories of the Czech automotive industry.

The aim of my thesis is to show reasons, ways and results of initiation Škoda Auto's strategicly important investments. Škoda Auto operates in the eastern-europe and asian markets through several options: licence, full production and assembly lines. It also produces or assembles cars either in its own or Volkswagen's or partner's factories. The reasons for this variability are various, the main ones are to reach as low costs as possible and to gain as large market share as possible. Mostly in the eastern-asian market, Škoda Auto owner, Volkswagen concern, relies on the advantage of positive associations with the Škoda Auto brand and the Czech Republic itself, these associations were created during the second half of the 20th century.

This work aims to characterize and analyze the activities of the British Chamber of Commerce in the czech market and its impact on member companies. The main attention is paid to cooperation between the British Chamber of Commerce and its members. The first chapter deals with the mutual relations between the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The second chapter is focused on the British Chamber of Commerce and its characteristics. The third chapter describes the operations and activities the British Chamber of Commerce deals with. The fourth chapter presents partner organizations with which the British Chamber of Commerce cooperates. The last chapter presents results of a survey concerning the relationship of member companies with the British Chamber of Commerce, their views and experience connected with the membership in the British Chamber of Commerce.
Obchodní a kulturní specifika Haiti a Dominikánské republiky

The bachelor thesis of the University of Economics in Prague deals with problems of Haiti and the Dominican Republic from the perspective of business and cultural specificity. The theme was chosen because of significant differences between the two countries, both in culture and in the economy. Another reason was that the author was visiting the island of Hispaniola during one month. This visit left mixed feelings for the author. Significant differences in the maturity of both countries and especially poverty in Haiti are discussed throughout the work and then outlines some possible methods for increasing standard of living and a better future for the population. The thesis deals first with historical development, then divided into two parts, i.e. the first one is devoted to Haiti and the second one to the Dominican Republic. It is approached from different point of view, perspectives, such as the economic situation, relations with the Czech Republic, the cultural specificity and current events. Further progress of the two independent states on the island of Hispaniola would have been very successful not only for the territory itself but also for the success of our entire civilization.

This work presents basic ekonomic and cultural facts about the Republic of Georgia. It describes cultural enviroment and political goal of the country. The work is trying to introduce Georgia based on observation. The first chapter presents Georgia from the geografical, political and historical view. In the second chapter is explained the ekonomical factors with focus on the Georgian-Czech relations. The third chapter describes georgian culture with focus on the language and tourism.
