Mazda showroom and service

This diploma thesis describes the design of showroom and car service of Mazda brand in Trencin. It is a detached building on a flat terrain. The car showroom and car service have two above-ground floors and one underground floor. On the first underground floor there is an underground garage designed for new cars for sale. On the first floor there is a car showroom with a customer base and a car service with facilities for car service staff. On the second floor there are offices with facilities for staff. The building is designed from a reinforced concrete structure and porous concrete blocks. The ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as flat with trusses and reinforced concrete slab. The work includes project documentation for the construction.

This diploma thesis presents a project documentation for construction of a community centre with a restaurant. Its construction site is located on the outskirts of town Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Poděbradova street. The building is composed from three parts, which are connected to each other. The first part houses the restaurant with its facilities. This part is a single floor structure covered by a flat green roof. Its façade is formed by white boards composed into an asymmetrical pattern. The second part serves as a backstage area where all the necessary facilities are located. This second part of the building is as the first part a single floor structure covered by a flat green roof. Its façade is formed by façade timber boards. The main entrance is located in the middle part, which is the third part the building. It has two floors and it houses an auditorium, a bar and amenities. Its façade is formed by trapezial boards. The construction system is formed by load bearing walls and by prestressed concreted floor panels or in some parts by cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The building has strip foundations. Its interior walls are built from sand-limestone bricks with acoustic properties. The perimeter walls are covered with ventilated façade with mineral wool thermal insulation. The heating of the community centre is powered by gas boiler connected to single-vent chimney with ventilation shaft.

THE DIPLOMA THESIS IS A PROJECT OF A NEW SPORTS CENTER IN PROSTĚJOV. THE BUILDING IS DETERMINED FOR RECREATION AND SPORT AND IT IS SET IN STRAIGHT PARCEL. IT'S DESIGN IN A TWO-STOREY WITH NO BASEMENT. THE BUILDING IS DESIGNED FROM THE SYSTEM POROTHERM. THE FRAME STRUCTURAL SYSTEM IS MADE UP OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMNS AND BEAMS. THE CEILING STRUCTURE IS MADE OF REINFORCED CONCRETE CEILING. FLOOR PLAN IS RUGGED. ROOF STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED AS A GREEN FLAT ROOF AND PART OF THE MULTIPURRPOSE HALL IS ROOFED WITH THE ROOF MADE BY GLUED TIMBER TRUSSES. THE BUILDING IS BASED ON THE STRIPS FOUNDATION AND FOUNDATION PADS.

This diploma thesis presents a project documentation for construction of a zoo pavilion with a restaurant. The structure has to be designed in compliance with regulations for buildings with almost zero energy consumption. Its construction site is located within the existing compound of Prague’s zoo on plot no. 1491/1. The pavilion is proposed to house giant pandas. The building has three floors- one underground and two above. It is covered by a flat green roof. In terms of circulation, the structure is composed from two parts. The first one is formed by premises for the pandas, including necessary facilities for their wellbeing and their breeding; and the second part is visitors’ part, including restaurant, gift shop and amenities. The building is enclosed by two exterior expositions for pandas which are connected with the interior exposition premises by two ramps- tunnels. There is a roof terrace adjacent to the restaurant for visitors to enjoy the view of pandas in their exterior grounds. The vertical structure of the pavilion for giant pandas is a combination of load bearing brick walls and cast-in-place concrete walls- the underground floor and the ground floor is formed by the cast-in-place concrete walls and the upper floor is formed by the brick walls made out of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks. The horizontal structures are formed by prestressed concreted floor panels or in the case of the upper floor by cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs.
Multifunctional building in Pelhřimov

The diploma thesis deals with a project of a new multifunctional building in Pelhřimov. The object is composed by four above-ground and one underground floor. Commercial premises are located on the first above-ground floor. These premises consist of a travel agency, bakery, bookshop and sports outfitters. Two individual administrative premises can be found on the second floor. Eight flats were designed on the third and the fourth above-ground floor. On each of these floors, there are four flats; two of them were designed as two-bedroom and two of them as three-bedroom flat. A common area and a row garage can be found on the underground floor. The construction system of the object is a combination of reinforced concrete frame and a masonry system. The object is roofed with a warm flat roof with a typical sequence of layers.
