Comparing accident of an ultralight aeroplane and accident of a glider

The topic of this thesis relates to the comparison of an ultralight aeroplane accident with an accident of a glider. In the theorical part, the civil aviation is described - organizations related to aviation, airports within the territory of the Czech Republic, areas designated to sport aircraft in the territory of the Czech Republic or information regarding ultralight aeroplane and unpowered aircraft (glider). Consequently, Integrated Rescue System (primary emergency services and other bodies of the Integrated Rescue System) is mentioned in the theorical part of this study, as well as an emergency operation of the bodies of the Integrated Rescue System during an emergency ocurrence: an aircraft accident. The research question of this study focuses on the potential differences between the investigation procedures and final reports published by Air Accidents Investigation Institute. These can relate either to an ultralight aeroplane accidents or accidents of gliders, considering different parameters, technical features and seat capacity of the mentioned aircrafts. The answer to this question is that neither procedures or the final reports differ in any of the two cases. The differences consist only in the results and conclusions of the aeroplane accidents. Those deviations in the final reports do not relate to any technical differences of the aircrafts mentioned above, nevertheless do relate to the factors which caused the aircraft accident (operators, airworthiness, pilot´s medical certification, pilot licence validity, weather conditions, and human factor influence). The second aim of the present study deals with the evaluation of the Fire Rescue Service bodies emergency operation during an emergency ocurrence: a sport ircraft accident. The result of the analysis of this report shows us that the Volunteer Fire Department from Strunkovice nad Blanicí came to the accident point in twelve minutes, on the contrary the professional Fire Rescue Unit of the area of the town Prachatice came later. Hence, the region-wide coverage by fire rescue units is undoubtedly of a supreme importance.

Radiotherapy of cervical cancer

This bacherol thesis focuses on radiotherapy of cervical cancer. In the theorical part we describe the anatomy proportions of little pelvis, typology of the tumor, its occurance, risk factors that can cause this disease, symptoms and diagnostics. We put special attention on the questions related to the prevention of cervical carcinoma. In addition we are interested in the treatment for this malignant disease surgery solutions, teletherapy, brachytherapy and chemotherapy. The second part of the bacherol thesis is empirical and focuses the radiotherapeutical treatment of patients with cervical carcinoma, stressing the analysis of doses of irradiation for the critical organs with repercussion for posterior occurance of acute or late undesired effects. The major risk factor detected was the insufficient participation of the respondents on the preventive gynecology examinations. The collected data reflect that only one third of women are undergoing the regular screening by their doctors. When analyzing the facts, we wanted to focuse on the irradiation doses applied to the critical organs. The obtained results showed that neither doses nor fractions have demostrated even a little progress during seven years. At the same time the techniques of irradiation did not evolve very much during the same period. The only difference was the increase of application of the IMRT technique in 2017 in comparison to 2010. The original hypothesis of the thesis advocating that the improvement of verification systems, imaging machines and planning systems could have an impact on the reduction of undesired effects caused by irradiation of critical organs during radiotherapy of cervix, was rejected due to above mentioned results.

Seniors' satisfaction with social services in Prachatice

The thesis discusses the satisfaction of senior citizens with social services in Prachatice. My thesis was aimed to identify awareness of senior citizens for social services available in the town of Prachatice. The other aim of my thesis was to identify how seniors are satisfied with the offer and provision of social services in Prachatice. Three research questions were used to achieve the goal. Semi-structured interviews with fourteen senior citizens who utilize social services in Prachatice were used to identify how seniors are informed about social services. Further I wanted to identify how elderly people are content with the offer and availability of social services, and how they are satisfied with the provision of social services, and what could be proposed to improve the offered and delivered social services. The acquired data were analysed using an open data coding method. The collected information indicates that awareness of social services for senior citizens in Prachatice is sufficient. A few proposals were raised by respondents that could increase awareness of available social services. Seniors are partly satisfied with the offer and availability of social services while they are not content with the number of vacancies in the Senior Home. They consider the provision of social services in Prachatice to be sufficient. A high number of respondents would propose to increase vacancies in the Senior Home in order to enhance the social services offered in Prachatice. The respondents would also propose to extend the offer of social services by personal assistance, day care center for elderly, home hospice care and increased number of beds in the Nursing Home for Persons with Cognitive Impairment. The respondents pointed out the possibility of more effective co-operation between providers of social services in Prachatice. The results of my thesis can help increase and make awareness of social services more effective and improve the offer and provision of social services for senior citizens in Prachatice.

Cooperation of Primary Schools and the Offices for Social-Legal Protection of Children

The bachelor thesis deals with cooperation between primary schools and authorities of social and legal protection of children. Social and legal protection of children is provided to children whose parents fail to fulfil the obligations defined in parental responsibility or fail to pursue or abuse the rights defined in parental responsibility. Social and legal protection is also provided to children leading immoral or shiftless way of life or regularly escaping from their parents. The general notification obligation assigns schools to notify local authorities of communities with wide competences of fact that indicate that a child requires social and legal protection. The goal of the thesis is to find out how a primary school cooperates with a children social-law care department in relation to social pathologic behaviour in primary school children. Two research questions were set to reach the goal. I tried to find out in what way cooperation between primary schools and authorities of social and legal protection of children is conducted and whether primary school teachers and social workers consider the cooperation efficient, by means of semi -structured interviews with primary school teachers and with social workers. The data obtained this way were analysed by the open data coding method. The cooperation is based on mutual transfer of information on pupils with problems, reports and written assessment of pupil's behaviour and school result. Social workers and primary school teachers meet at consultation meetings and also at disciplinary boards and case conferences. School teachers and social workers consider their cooperation effective. Certain problems however occur in their cooperation. To make the cooperation more effective two teachers propose more frequent updating of laws and applicable regulations with regard to current needs of children and legislation modification. Social workers propose establishment of a multidisciplinary team, an increase of the number of social workers and presence of a lawyer at the children social-law protection department, education in social and legal protection of children for primary school teachers, and an Internet forum. The results of the thesis may be used for making the cooperation more efficient and for prevention of risky behaviour among primary school children.
