This thesis deals with the network infrastructure design for family house. The default aspects for the design of network infrastructure are house plans and requirements of the client. The work presents the theoretical knowledge necessary for further analysis of client requirements and design optimal solution. Part of the work are cabling plans, location of active elements and cost calculations to build the network infrastructure.

This bachelor thesis is focused on functional and efficient design of WiFi network which will be able to satisfy needs of pacients and employees of hospital which is based in a city with 10 000 inhabitants. By implementing this project, the hospital will achieve a better quality of service especially for patients who need to stay there for a long time. The thesis includes design of cable routing, selection and setting of active elements and economic evaluation of investment.

Renovation of a Computer Network in an Office Building

This Bachelor thesis analysis the current state of computer network in Přemysl Veselý stavební a inženýrská činnost s. r. o. company. Subsequently, a new project for company's network has been elaborated based on investor's request. The thesis discusses theoretical premises of solutions which are proposed in the project of the network using the Ethernet 1Gb/s technology with twisted pair cables in the way that satisfies investor's requests. The conclusion offers a calculation of the cost of material needed, and price estimation of the implementation of the solution.
