Akira Ifukube: Sinfonia Tapkaara and its interpretive stance

This work focuses on the interpretation of one of most known pieces in Japan. Akira Ifukube is known more as a film composer, but he also wrote great symphonic works, and Sinfonia Tapkaara is one of his most popular performed pieces. I also looked into the life of the composer A. Ifukube and the current affairs at that time in Hokkaido.
