Design of alternative row sources for super insulation ceramics blocks production
Novák, Vítězslav ; Horský, Antonín (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with improving of the thermal properties of contemporary ceramic fittings for external walls using the built-in thermal insulation. There was designed a mix of cement and waste PUR granules in the practical part. Using this mixture as an integrated isolation, the resulting simulated ceramic block.
Development of advanced masonnry blocks for acoustic masonry construction
Lidmilová, Klára ; Horský, Antonín (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with study of sound behaviour in the field of partition structures, especially inter-residential partitions, evaluation of structures in terms of acoustic insulation properties and the production of ceramics in general and acoustic masonry elements. Based on a literature search and market research, new ways of solving acoustic-insulating masonry, including construction, were proposed. The feasibility of construction was verified on a small-scale model created using 3D printing. The selected masonry element was further developed into various dimensional modules, which were compared on the basis of the weights of the individual elements and on the basis of the number of joints. Furthermore, the levels of lightening of the elements were adjusted in order to achieve the highest possible values of the basis weight of the masonry and thus the highest possible airborne sound insulation.
Study of possibilities of hydrofobization of masonry clay blocks for plinth walls
Jirásková, Iveta ; Horský, Antonín (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the design method of hydrophobic cavity brick fittings for the construction of masonry structures, especially plinth masonry and other external structures subjected to elevated moisture. The scope of work is to undertake a literature review of hydrophobic products and methods for reducing absorption of masonry blocks. The work is also practical verification of the effectiveness of selected hydrofobics the brick fittings. The target is to find the optimal method of reducing the absorption of masonry elements, both in terms of the resulting utility properties and economic viewpoint.
