This bachelor's thesis deals with the educational approaches of teachers in nursery schools. The technique of collage was chosen for depicting educational attitudes. The bachelor thesis aimed to find out via the collage and the dialogue which educational approaches the teachers at nursery schools have. The theoretical part deals with the teacher´s character, educational styles, and approaches and as well as the collage as the arttherapeutical techniques. The practical part is concerned with the used methods in the research. That is the qualitative research, the dialogue method over the collage. Further, there are some assignments described, art therapy with eight responders, their collages, and as well the contents that can be found in the collages with consideration of the topic and the aim of this bachelor thesis.

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Student: Bc. Lucie Polenová Supervisor: MUDr. Pavla Paterová Title of diploma thesis: Detection of methicillin - resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in Hospital České Budějovice, a. s. and in University Hospital Hradec Králové The resistance of microbes to antibiotics belongs to worldwide health problems. Infections, which are caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), occur mainly in hospitals. It is because of incorrect and excesive consumption of antibiotics. Insufficient observance of hygienic-epidemiological measures helps to spread resistant strains. Background: The aim of the study was to determine the incidence of MRSA strains in two Czech hospitals - in Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. and in University Hospital Hradec Králové. To compare results with figures in the previous years and sort isolated strains by different characteristics in both hospitals. Methods: Results of the study are based on retrospective data analysis from electronic database. All data from hospitalized patients or outpatients during 1.1.2015 - 31.12.2015 with isolation of MRSA were counted. Processing and cultivation of isolates were made by standard microbiology measures. Strains,...

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Šárka Fenclová Supervisor: MUDr. Pavla Paterová Title of diploma thesis: Occurence of multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa in University Hospital Hradec Králové Multidrug-resistant strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa are increasingly frequent threat especially among nosocomial pathogens. Therapy of infections caused by the microbe becomes a problem has occurred and even when there is no effective antibiotic. The content of this thesis is a summary of knowledge of the bacterium, its diagnosis, treatment and epidemiology of infections. The experimental part focuses on the overall incidence of multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and as multiresistant this bacterium was evaluated in resistance to at least 3 of the 6 anti-pseudomonas used antibiotics, for the years 2012 - 2014. It is also evaluated the number of new cases of multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa for the years 2012-2014 which is divided according to the type of material, according clinics, by subject, age and sex of the patient and the period of coverage. The final character was observed phenotypic antibiotic resistance for the years 2008 - 2014, together with the consumption of antibiotics in...

This thesis describes the characteristics of nosocomial infections, sources, transmission routes and different kinds of these infections. Emphasised are activities of non- medical personnel, particularly with regard to respect for Fundamentals hygienic and antiepidemic measures. The main topic was to explore the level of knowledge of paramedical personnel in the field of nosocomial infections. A survey was performed in the group of respondents, who were nurses working in selected ICUs of University Hospital in Hradec Kralove.

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and medical sciences Candidate: Bc. Kateřina Chudějová Supervisor: MUDr. Pavla Paterová Title of diploma thesis: Sensitivity of multiresistant strains to disinfectants Branch of study: Healthcare bioanalytics - Specialist in Laboratory Metods Out of multiresistant strains (bacteria resistant to multiple antibiotics), are gradually becoming a bigger problem in all treatments of infectious diseases on a global scale. They can easily become a major complication, which could occur during medical care and following treatments. The requirement is to reduce their quantity, limit their reproduction and transmission between patients. One of the used resources are disinfectants. The aim of this dissertation is to determine the sensitivity of selected multi-resistant strains against certain disinfectants, which are routinely used at Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové. The following products used in the Department of Clinical Microbiology have been selected for testing: Basic Manusept® - ethanol disinfection used in practice for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, Sterillium Med® - ethanol disinfection with the addition of glycerol, which is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, Cleanisept® - combined...

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Lenka Bašná Supervisor: MUDr. Pavla Paterová Title of diploma thesis: Incidence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in University Hospital Hradec Králové 2011-2012 Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a global health-care problem. This is the main cause of serious nosocomial infections that are difficult to treat due to resistance to an increasing number of antibiotics. Now these resistant strains are also present in the community. This diploma thesis summarizes the findings about the mentioned issue and deals mainly with the diagnosis, treatment and epidemiology of MRSA. The practical part is focused on the incidence of new cases of MRSA in the University Hospital Hradec Králové in 2011-2012. The monitored characteristics are: origin of the isolates according to type of material and representation in individual clinics and hospital wards, age and sex of patients and period of capture. The antibiotic resistance profile of MRSA strains in 2008-2012 was also studied. New cases of MRSA in both years were the most frequently detected from samples from the respiratory tract (46% in 2011 and 44% in 2012), followed by samples from wounds and defects...
