Analytical solutions for selected types of differential equations: software support tool for students in technical fields
Neuwirth, Daniel ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create a computer application with a simple user interface for solving selected types of differential equations, whose output is not limited to display a final result only, but also includes a complete calculation procedure and therefore can serve as a supportive teaching aid for university students.
Customer proprietary information system
Kojecký, Jan ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Heriban, Pavel (advisor)
The work deals with the development of custom business information systems for ISPs. The information system consists of two main modules – the user module, which manages all the necessary data and hardware module, which contains information on technical equipment and network infrastructure of company with links to transmitted data monitors. The information system is running on Linux server.
Fitness application for Android
Husa, Martin ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis contains search study about operating system Android, universally basics of application programming and practical example of mobile sport application for Android. Application contains training roster completed with animations of exercises and also databases with statistics of trainings or weight measurements.
Development of Internet Application Using Rich Internet Application Adobe AIR
Šimík, Adam ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This thesis explores the development of desktop applications using Adobe AIR (Adobe Itegrated Runtime) technology. Applications like these are based on web technologies but they do not have such restricted access to resources of operating system as web applications. Moreover, it is possible to install these applications on various operating systems without the need of their previous compilation for a specific operating platform. Apart from describing technologies used for developing AIR applications, this thesis also presents an application which is used for testing the possibilities and features that AIR technology offers.
Java decompiler
Žamberský, Zdeněk ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The goal was to create decompiler for Java programing language. Decompiler should reconstruct original Java source code from class files, representing its compiled form. First part of thesis focuses on Java langage, its compilation and structure of class file. Then Java Virtual Machine and its instruction set is discussed. After that thesis focuses on decompilation and algoritms designed and used for decompiler realization. Examples of decompiled code are presented.
Computer games design using XNA technology
Rojíček, Vojtěch ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to inform about history and theory of game industry and afterwards develop sample games for computer platform using XNA technology. It will be possible to download these games for free from the webpage of Institute of Automation and Computer Science.
Methods and algorithms for face recognition
Soukup, Jiří ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
This work is describing basic methods of face recognition. The methods PCA, LDA, ICA, trace tranfsorm, elastic bunch graph map, genetic algorithm and neural network are described. In practical part, the PCA, PCA + RBF neural network and genetic algorithms are implemented. The RBF neural network is used in the way of clasificator and genetic algorithm is used for RBF NN training in one case and for selecting eigenvectors from PCA method in the other case. This method, PCA + GA, called EPCA, outperform other methods tested in this work on the ORL testing database.
Vector graphic editor
Bartoněk, Jan ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a simple, yet powerful vector graphics editor. The research part of the thesis deals with the issue of computer graphics, its history, the division, and its basics concepts. Furthermore, this section discusses raster and vector graphics and last but not least, it lists and describes the most popular vector graphics editors. The vector graphics editor itself is programmed in Python using the PyQt5 library. Finally, the conclusion reviews and evaluates the work and its results.
Graphic editor for Android OS
Hrazdíra, Matěj ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The proposed master thesis deals with design and implementation of application for editing of raster graphics for Android operating system. First of all, an overview of available software is shown. Based upon this overview, requirements for implemented software are formulated. Required theoretical knowledge providing foundation for implemented functions is summarized in the next chapter. Further Android operating system is introduced with respect to its deployment and other specific characteristics, which have direct impact on application development. The following part describes implemented application from end user perspective. User interface is described here together with application features. The last chapter is focused on implementation of created software – separation to single modules and class responsibilities. Appendices contain examples of application usage.
System Project and Implementation of Building Heating
Kašpar, Ondřej ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma paper is to design and implement a system of heating and irrigation. The system was designed for the premises of the garden shop located in Nové Město na Moravě. The new system shall replace the existing one as well as eliminate the use of human resources. The irrigation is done through a system of water pumps implemented in each of four green-houses. The heating is achieved through a system of hot air devices, and uses water as a transfer medium. The water is heated in a boiler using the new generation of solid propellants. The boiler is supplemented by solar collectors placed on the roof of the shop premises. The process is controlled by one of the programmable automatic devices made by Siemens, namely the S7-200 model. Temperature and humidity sensors are responsible for collection of the data. The paper also describes the technologies used and considered, the development environment and the construction components.
