The bachelor thesis is concerned with factors, limits and opportunities of speech therapy institutions in the South Moravian and Olomouc regions. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as communication, speech therapy, disturbed communication ability and clinical speech therapy. Furthermore are presented logopaedic care provided by the respective ministries, professional and interest organizations and finally support, which has emerged in the past few years as part of the speech therapy intervention. The practical part presents qualitative research. Through interviews with speech therapists and the parents of a child with disturbed communication ability, the current state and the problems encountered in providing speech therapy are analyzed. Interviews are transcribed and gained knowledge is processed through open coding.
