Work in a man's life with visual disabilities

The thesis deals with the description and reflection of the phenomenon of work during its historical transformation and with a focus on people with disabilities, especially visual ones. The thesis is based on social work, theology and the legal system of the Czech Republic. Against the background of certain stages of the history of disabled persons, a group of people with disabilities is approached, especially visually, the disabled, and in the historical review the change of access to these persons is then thematic. The thesis also focuses on the value of the thesis and describes the transformation of the concept of work in historical development in connection with the targeted target group. The value of the work from a Christian point of view and its humane potential in relation to persons with (visual) disabilities are also analysed on the basis of selected social learning documents. The last chapter focuses on problems relating to the employment of the disabled, both by the employee and by the employer. It deals with whether and how today society is preventing the disabled from the labour market.
Paradiplomacy of municipalities in South Bohemia and Plzeň region

This diploma thesis determines the foreign activities of municipalities in South Bohemia and Plzeň region (i.e. paradiplomacy) and so by the analysis of cross-border municipal partnerships. The term paradiplomacy is defined, European regional policy, possibilities of financial support of mentioned activities and institutionalized forms of co-operation among municipalities are presented. Special attention is given primarily to the cross-border partnerships that are the main subject of interest of the diploma thesis. The thesis is based on an analytical-empirical approach. There are also used the methods of comparative politics and statistical and mathematical methods for evaluation of data.
The public administration in the Free State of Bavaria and the heritage conservation

The objective of the bachelor's thesis is to present the system of heritage conservation in the Federal Republic of Germany as an example of public sector organization. The field of cultural and heritage conservation is under the exclusive competence of the individual federal states, hence the main focus of the thesis at this level of competence. The subject of interest is the Free State of Bavaria. The thesis focuses on the Bavarian legislation, authorities and institutions responsible for heritage conservation and the funding options for the preservation of monuments. The thesis also presents the societies supporting the heritage conservation on the federal level.
The possibilities of aftercare for adult children leaving foster homes

The thesis is focused on the aftercare possibilities for young people who leave a children's home. Thesis presents the aftercare possibilities for young adults who leave children's home in the Czech Republic and in England. The thesis also describes institutional care in the Czech Republic as well as in England, reasons for the institutional care order, what facilities are provided in each of the countries. Next it focuses on children's homes, mainly on children's preparation to leave the home and the departure itself. The aim of this work is to present the aftercare possibilities and describing specific aftercare facilities that are available. Eventually this work compares aftercare itself in the Czech Republic and England. The work is focused on working-out the aftercare of these two countries and comparing the similarities and differences. It then focuses on whether these countries services could be used as some form of inspiration for each other.
