Implementation of the SF-HRP action selection mechanism
Farka, František ; Plch, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dvořák, Filip (referee)
In this thesis, we present our C++ implementation of the State-Full Hierarchical Reactive Planning (SF-HRP) mechanism for action selection for virtual agents. The implementation is connected to 3D virtual environment and provides access to 3rd party software for profiling purposes vie defined interface. A prototype of such a profiler is part of the implementation. The thesis also presents an input format for agent's behavior description and is used within the implementation. Both the implementation and input format are demonstrated on testing scenarios. The SF-HRP concept is discussed with respect to the difficulty of design of agent's behavior and complexity of the implementation.
Maintainable type classes for Haskell
Farka, František ; Pudlák, Petr (advisor) ; Křen, Tomáš (referee)
In this thesis we address a long-term maintainability problem in Haskell type class system. In particular we study a possibility of backward-compatible changes in existing class hierarchies. In the first part of the thesis we give a brief overview of the language. The following part summarizes current proposed solutions to the problem and analyzes their properties. Based on this analysis we derive our own language extension proposal. In the penultimate chapter we present several possible applications of the language extension and compare the extension to other solutions. As a part of the thesis we also give a proof-of-concept implementation of the extension for the GHC compiler, which is briefly described in the last part of this thesis. Educational materials - gathering and processing data in a spreadsheet
FARKA, František
The aim of my thesis is to create a teaching material which will introduce the secondary school students to the issue of getting and processing information and data, as well as their consequent practical usage. My thesis has the form of an analysis of the subject matter, includes a suggestion and possible application of the teaching material with the focus on maximum usage of pupil?s individual work, research methods and project teaching. This teaching material will be aimed at pupils between 12 and 16 years of age and it can be used during optional lessons or in various IT hobby clubs for teenagers.
The statistics of the provisioning of the telecommunication services
FARKA, František
The objective of my diploma work is the introducing into the provisioning of the fix services in the O2 Company via the ORACLE OSM product. The work is conceived as an analysis and design for the new application creation. This application will be provide global views of the ORACLE OSM data and create and save the statistics from these data. The application will be based on the products of ORACLE. In following chapters there are described the current state of the TO2 provisioning and the ORACLE OSM product. The absence of the global views in this system will be mentioned. The detailed analysis and proposal for the application development will be create based this absence. This application will be provide these global views.
