The theatrical type of braggart soldier in Comedia Thebayda
EXNEROVÁ, Andrea
The presented bachelor´s thesis is focused on the characteristics of the theatrical type of braggart soldier in Comedia Thebayda, whose author is José Luis Canet Vallés. At the beginning of the theoretical part a delimitation of the tradition and concept of a braggart soldier´s character is made based on observations of various authors. Afterwards, basic qualities typical for the behavior of such a character are proposed. There is also a brief presentation of characters appearing in the play and a summary of the content, which is helpful in the process of the analysis of a braggart soldier character. After that, an identification of the character as such is mentioned which corresponds to the qualities of a braggart soldier defined in the theoretical part of the thesis. In the practical part, which appears at the end of the thesis, concrete demeanour of the character of a braggart soldier is demonstrated and a special attention is drawn to the extracts which support bragging of the character.

Andrea Exnerová Enterobius vermicularis Bachelor thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Medical laboratory technician Background: The aim of this thesis is to create an overview of the current knowledge about Enterobius vermicularis and to perform a questionnaire study among parents. The aim of this survey is to find out informations about the progress, diagnosis and treatment of this infection and public awareness of this disease. Methods: Questionnaire study among parents, whose children have ever been infected with Enterobius vermicularis. Results: Pinworm infection is the most common among children aged 4-7 years. Half of the children who visited a pediatrician were examined. In almost 25 % of the cases, the stool sample was collected. The children were treated mostly with prescribed medication, the parents rarely chose home-treatment. In one third of the cases, the other members of the household were infected too. In the half of the cases the whole family was treated preventively. The most common symptom is rectal itching (83 %). Complications are exceptional. 60 % of the respondents incorrectly think that it is possible to get infected with pinworms from animals. The respondents most commonly called enterobiasis a disease of dirty hands. Conclusions: The...

Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Andrea Exnerová Supervisor: Mgr. Petra Žádníková, Ph.D. prof. RNDr. Lenka Skálová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Degradation of hyaluronic acid in the skin and percutaneous absorption of exogenous hyaluronic acid through the skin Up to half of the body's total hyaluronic acid (HA) content is present in the skin. HA acts as an organizer of the extracellular matrix and is involved in maintaining skin hydration and elasticity. In the last decade, several important findings have been added to the field of HA degradation in the skin, and one of the aims of this thesis was to create a comprehensive overview. Degradation of HA in the dermis was elucidated by the discovery of the essential role in the degradation of HA in dermal fibroblasts played by the KIAA1199 protein. In the epidermis, the lysosomal enzyme hyaluronidase 1 is overexpressed in the stratum granulosum just below the stratum corneum (SC). It is uncertain how HA is internalized into the keratinocytes or whether only intracellular HA is degraded in this way. Epidermal degradation of HA remains elusive. HA is part of a range of topically applied products on the skin, mainly due to its unique moisturizing properties, but it is not yet...
