The Armenian Apostolic Church and its role in the integration of Armenians in Czechia

Absctract Armenians were the first nation in the world to adopt Christianity as their state religion. For that reason, the Armenian Apostolic Church is considered as one of the oldest in the world. For centuries, it has also carried one task, which is to preserve the national identity of a nation that has been tested several times. The aim of the thesis is to submit research related to this ancient church. At the same time, based on the current increasing numbers of Armenians in the Czechia, evaluated its role on the integration of the nation into Czech society. The work also deals with the position of the church in the life of Armenians.
